UK Charts: Michael Buble na vrhu liste albuma, Little Mix dobile #1 hit / Michael Buble tops Albums chart, Little Mix score #1 hit

Praznični album Michaela Bublea, "Christmas", je izgleda glavni muzički poklon ovog Božića. Ovaj album se ove nedelje vratio na prvo mesto i u Velikoj Britaniji sa 269 665 prodatih primeraka, što je najbolja nedeljna prodaja ove godine.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "Lioness: Hidden Treasures" od Amy Winehouse, pao je na drugo mesto (185 851).

U top 10 se vraća kolekcija najvećih hitova grupe Westlife (9. mesto, 78 377).

Što se liste singlova tiče, na prvom mestu su se očekivano našle pobednice ovogodišnjeg X-Factora Little Mix sa obradom pesme Damiena Ricea, "Cannonball". Ova pesma prodata je u 210 129 primeraka, što je najbolja nedeljna prodaja ove godine kada se radi o singlovima.

Aktuelni singl grupe Coldplay, "Paradise", nastavlja da napreduje na listi i ove nedelje se zaustavlja na drugom mestu (73 063).

Jedini top 10 novitet ove nedelje, pored Little Mix, je Leona Lewis sa obradom pesme grupe Nine Inch Nails, "Hurt", na osmom mestu (27 912). Ovo je osmi top 10 singl za pevačicu.

It seems that Michael Buble's holiday album, "Christmas", is a main music gift this Christmas. This album returns to #1 this week in the UK with 269 665 copies sold, which is the best weekly sales for any album this year.

Last week's #1 album, Amy Winehouse's "Lioness: Hidden Treasures", moves to #2 (185 851).

Westlife's greatest hits album returns to top 10 (#9, 78 377).

As for the singles chart, winners of this years' X-Factor Little Mix take #1 spot with a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball". This song was sold in 210 129 copies last week, which is the biggest weekly sales for any single this year.

The latest Coldplay's single, "Paradise", continues to move up and this week stops at #2 (73 063).

The only top 10 new entry this week, beside Little Mix, comes from Leona Lewis, whose cover of Nine Inch Nails', "Hurt", debuts at #8 (27 912). This is the eighth top 10 for her.

Leona Lewis najavila novi EP / Leona Lewis announces new EP

Iako je izdavanje novog albuma Leona Lewis, "Glasshears", pomereno za mart sledeće godine, fanovi nemaju razloga za tugu. Pobednica britanskog X-Factora iz 2006. godine je najavila novi EP, "Hurt", koji će biti objavljen 9. decembra. Na njemu će se naći tri pesme - "Hurt", "Iris" i "Colorblind". Pevačica je najavila da će pesme sa ovog EP-a promovisati u finalu britanske i američke verzije X-Factora.

Dok se nove pesme ne pojave, uživajte u prvom singlu sa albuma "Glassheart" - "Colide".

Although a release of Leona Lewis' new album has been pushed to March next year, fans don't need to mourn. A winner of 2006 X-Factor has announced a new EP, "Hurt", which will be released on December 9th. It will feature three songs - "Hurt", "Iris" and "Colorblind". The singer has also said that she'll promote this release during a final of both, British and American, X-Factor.

Engleski reper Example dobio je svoj prvi #1 album zahvaljujući izdanju "Playing In the Shadows". Ovaj album, njegov treći, prodat je u 56 224 primeraka prošle nedelje. Top pozicija ne treba da čudi jer su oba singla koja su najavila album, Changed the Way You Kiss Me i Stay Awake, stigla do prvog mesta liste singlova.

Zahvaljjujući remasteringu kompilacije grupe The Beatles iz 2000. godine, "1", ovaj album se vraća u top 10 na šesto mesto (23 707).

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "I'm With You", grupe Red Hot Chili Peppers pao je na sedmo mesto (22 340).

Poslednji top 10 novitet je novi album 87-godišnje Doris Day, "My Heart", na devetom mestu (14 490). 

Što se liste singlova tiče, nova pesma Pixie Lott, "All About Tonight" stigla je do vrha ove nedelje (88 893). Ovo je njen treći #1.

U top 5 su još dva noviteta. Novi singl grupe The Saturdays, "All Fired Up", nalazi se na trećem mestu (68 922) i to je njihov četvrti top 3 hit.

Leona Lewis debitovala je na četvrtom mestu sa singlom "Colide" (51 913). Ovo je njen sedmi top 5 hit.

After copyright problems and a successful agreement, Leona Lewis finally premiered a video for her new single "Colide". This is the first single taken from her third studio album "Glass Heart", Due Nov 28.

The video, which shows sexy Leona, was filmed on a beach in LA and it's directed by  Ethan Lader.

Leona Lewis rešila problem oko autorskih prava za pesmu "Colide" / Leona Lewis settles "Collide" rights dispute

Dobra vest za fanove Leone Lewis (ili ne, zavisi od toga kako gledate na pesmu "Colide"). Naime, ova pesma će biti objavljena šestog septembra, kako je bilo planirano, jer je pevačica vansudski rešila spor sa autorom pesme Timom Berglingom poznatog kao DJ Avicii. Avicii je na svom twitter profilu napisao:

"Drago mi je što je sve razrešeno sa Leonom! Muzika je odgovor!"

Good news for all Leona Lewis' fans (or not, it depends whether you like her song "Colide"). This song will be released on Sep 6, as planned after she setlled the dispute with an author of the song Tim Bergling, knows as DJ Avicii. Avicii wrote on his twitter profile:

"Glad to FINALLY have resolved situation with Leona. Music is the answer!"

Tužbe za plagijat definitivno nisu retka pojava, posebno u svetu pop muzike koje i inače privlače veliku pažnju medija. Da krenemo redom. Kao što znate (a znate ako čitate ovaj blog), Leona Lewis je nedavno objavila novi singl "Colide". Sve je to super, samo što je snimila bez dozvole autora (da, ne krade samo Karleuša). Instrumental je uradio švedski muzičar Tim Bergling alias DJ Avicii i, kako tvrdi, na taj instrumental je dodat Leonin vokal bez prethodnog konsultovanja sa njim. Saslušanje obe strane je zakazno za 8. avgust. Naravno, poslušajte obe pesme, pa prosudite i vi. 

Tu je još jedan slučaj. Pevačica Rebecca Francescatti tvrdi da je pesma "Judas" Lady Gage, zapravo obrada njene pesme "Juda" iz 1999. godine. I ona je podnela tužbu, ali sudeći po isečcima ne verujem da će se obogatiti.

Accusations for plagiarism are definitely not rare, especially in pop music world which are closely followed by medias. So, let's start. As you know (and you know if you read this blog), Leona Lewis has recently released her now single "Colide". It's all nice, just it seems that she recorded it without an author's permission. An instrumental for the song recorded Swedish musician Tim Bergling alias DJ Avicii and, according to him, Leona's vocals were just added to his music without asking for a permission previously. Both sides will meet in court on Aug 8th. In a meantime, you can listen both songs below and judge for yourself.

There is another case.  American singer Rebecca Francescatti claims that Lady Gaga's "Judas" is a rip-off of her 1999 song "Juda". She filed a lawsuit, but according to snipets below, she won't get ritch.

Razlog još nije poznat, mada su spekulacije mnogobrojne. Takođe su potvrdili da će se njihova saradnja na reality show programu Q Viva nastaviti, uprkos razvodu.

Cher je na svom twitter profilu napisala da je snimila prvu pesmu za svoj novi album čiji je autor Lady Gaga. Pesma se zove "The Greatest Thing", a kao producent se potpisuje RedOne. Gaga je pesmu navodno čuvali za sebe, ali je rešila da je preradi i pokloni koleginici.

Adele se vraća na prvo mesto britanske liste albuma

Aktuelni album Adele "21" vratio se na prvo mesto britanske top-liste albuma, iako je objavljen pre 6 meseci! Ovo je inače po prvi put u istoriji da su u top 3 albumi čiji su nazivi brojevi (2. mesto: Beyonce - 4, 3. mesto: Adele - 19).

Boy bend The Wanted dobio je svoj prvi #1 singl u Velikoj Britaniji zahvaljujući pesmi "Glad You Came".

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting divorced

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced that they'll end their marriage soon after 7 years. This is a big surprise for a lot of people, because they're considered as one of the most stable couple in the industry. Although official reason hasn't been given, there are many speculations around web. They also confirmed that they will continue to work together on Q Viva reality show, despite the divorce.

These two are parents to 3-year old twins Emme and Max and during their marriage they built a big business empire worth of millions dolars, so we should find out in the near future how they will split their custody and money.

Red Hot Chili Peppers new single online

A new single by Red Hot Chili Peppers is available online! The track is titled The Adventures of Dance Rain Maggie" and it's the first single taken from their upcoming album "I'm With You" (to be released on Aug 30). This is their 10th studio album and first with a new guitarist Josh Kinghoffer. Listen to the song here.

Leona Lewis releases new single

X-Factor winner from 2006, Leona Lewis, has premiered a new single titled "Colide". The song was premiered on BBC radio on July 15 and will be available for download from Sep 4. If you like fast, europop summer tunes, you'll like this too (You can listen to it below!). A title and a release date of a new album are still unknown. 

Lady Gaga wrote song for Cher

Cher confirmed on her twitter profile that she recorded the first song for her new album and that the track is penned by Lady Gaga. The song is titled "The Greatest Thing" and it's produced by Red One. Apparently, Gaga wanted to save a song for herself, but she decided to rework it and give as a gift to her colleague.

Adele returns to the top of UK Albums Chart

The latest Adele's album "21" has returned to the top of the UK Albums chart, although it was released 6 months ago! It's the first time in the chart history that top 3 is occupied by albums with numeric titles (#2 - Beyonce - "4", #3 - Adele - "19").

Boy band The Wanted has scored their first #1 on the singles chart thanks to thair new hit "Glad You Came".
