Robbie Williams ponovo napustio Take That / Robbie Williams leaves Take That again

Spekulacije su se pokazale istinitim. Robbie Williams ponovo je napustio bend u kome se proslavio, potvrdio je Gary Barlow, jedan od članova popularnog benda Take That. Robbie se prošle godine, nakon 15 godina, vratio u bend kako bi sa njima snimio novi album i krenuo na turneju. Međutim, radost mnogobrojnih fanova je kratko trajala.

"Robbie više nije deo grupe. On je naš brat, ali želeo je da ode. Ako ikada bude poželeo da se vrati, vrata su mu otvorena, ali čini se da se to ipak neće dogoditi", rekao je Gary na današnjoj pres konferenciji.

Njihov zajednički studijski album, "Progress", prodat je u oko 4 miliona primeraka, dok su na zajedničkoj turneji po Velikoj Britaniji zaradili sedam miliona dolara.  

Gary je dodao da će i bend i Robbie uskoro početi rad na novim albumima.

Speculations are proved to be truth. Robbie Williams has left a bend which rose him to fame again, Gary Barlow, his band mate from Take That confirmes. Robbie returned to the band last year, after 15 years, to record a new album and go on tour with his old band mates. Still, fans' happiness wasn't long-lasting.

"Robbie is not a member of a group anymore. He's our brother, but he wanted to go. If he ever wants to come back, he's welcome, but it seems that it won't happen", said Gary at today's press conference.

Their studio album, "Progress", has been sold in around 4M copies, and they earned 7M dollars on their last UK tour.

Gary added that both, the band and Robbie, will be devoted to their own releases from now on.

Zahvaljujući reizdanju albuma "Progress" - "Progressed" i uspešnoj turneji po Velikoj Britaniji koja je u toku, grupa Take That vratila se na vrh top-liste albuma sa 77 720 prodatih primeraka.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album "Suck It and See" grupe Arctic Monkeys pao je na četvrto mesto ove nedelje (34 910).

Novi album američkog muzičara Paula Simona "So Beautiful or So What" debitovao je na šestom mestu sa 22 hiljade prodatih primeraka i ovo je njegov deveti top 10 album.

Prvi EP američkog hip-hop dua Bad Meets Evil "Hell: The Sequel" stigao je do sedmog mesta sa 21 237 prodatih kopija. Ovaj duo nastao je 1998. godine i jedan od njegovih članova je Eminem koji je ubrzo nakon osnivanja započeo uspešnu solo karijeru. On se nedavno ponovo sastao sa svojim prijateljem Royce da 5'9" kako bi snimali nove pesme.

Album holandske pevačice Caro Emerald "Deleted Scenes From the Cutting Room" skočio je sa 17. na osmo mesto, što je najbolja pozicija za ovaj album.

Kompilacija najvećih hitova grupe Electric Lights Orchestra skočila je sa 23. mesta i našla se na desetom mestu ove nedelje, što je njihov 11. top 10 album.

Što se liste singlova tiče, Example je zadržao prošlonedeljnu top poziciju sa "Changed the Way You Kiss Me". Ova pesma prošle nedelje prodata je u 75 252 primerka. 

Na drugom mestu je novi singl Calvina Harrisa "Bounce" u kome gostuje Kellis. Ova pesma prodata je u 66 920 primeraka i to je šesti top 10 hit za Harrisa.

20-godišnji američki pevač Ed Sheeran debitovao je na trećem mestu sa singlom "The A Team" (57 607).

Poslednji top 10 novitet dolazi od repera Tinchya Strydera. Njegova nova pesma "Spaceship" zauzela je peto mesto (44 390) što je njegov peti top 10 hit.

Thanks to a re-release of their latest album "Progress" - "Progressed" and successful UK tour that is in full swing at the moment, Take That return to the top of the Albums chart with 77 720 copies sold.

The last week #1 album "Suck It and See" by Arctic Monkeys falls to #4 this week (34 910).

Paul Simon's new release "So Beautiful or So What" arrives at #6 (21 993) making it his 9th top 10 album.

The first EP by American hip-hop duo Bad Meets Evil "Hell: The Sequel" debuts at #7 with 21 237 copies sold. The duo was formed in 1998 and one of its members is Eminem who soon after the formation started a successful solo career. Eminem has reunited with his friend Royce da 5'9" in order to release new songs.

The latest album by Dutch singer Caro Emerald "Deleted Scenes From the Cutting Room" moves 17-8 which is its peak position so far.

The greatest hits collection by Electric Lights Orchestra jumps from #23 to #10 making it their 11th top 10 album.

As for the Singles chart, Example remains #1 with "Changed the Way You Kiss Me" with additional 75 252 copies sold.

Calvin Harris takes #2 spot with his new single "Bounce" featuring Kellis (66 920). This is the sixth top 10 single for Harris.

A debut single by American 20-year-old singer Ed Sheeran "The A Team" arrives at #3 (57 607).

The last top 10 new entry comes from a rapper Tinchy Stryder and his single  "Spaceship" at #5 (44 390), which is his fifth top 10 hit.

Take That objavljuju reizdanje albuma "Progress" / Take That to re-release "Progress"

Grupa Take That objaviće reizdanje njihovog albuma iz prošle godine Progress čiji je naziv Progressed. Album će biti objavljen 13. juna i na njemu će se naći osam novih pesama, uključujući i pesmu Love Love sa soundtracka filma X Men: First Class.

Album Progress objavljen je u novembru prošle godine i prodat je u 2 miliona primeraka samo u Velikoj Britaniji. Zanimljivo je da je ovo prvi album sa Robbijem Williamson posle 1995. godine.

Take That are set to re-release their last year album Progress which title will be Progressed. The album will be released on June 13 and will feature eight new songs, including Love Love from X Men: First Class soundtrack. 

Progress was released in November last year and it was sold in 2M copies in the UK only. It's interesting that this is their first album feautring Robbie Williams since 1995.

Nakon što je njegova bivša izdavačka kuća EMI odbila da 2009. godine obnovi ugovor sa njim, Robbie Williams se posle skoro 20 godina vratio u grupu Take That sa kojom je postigao ogroman uspeh zahvaljujući kojem je ponovo postao zanimljiv izdavačkim kućama. Kako pišu razni internet portali, postoji mogućnost da Robbie potpiše novi solo ugovor, što znači da će morati da preskoči predstojeću turneju sa svojim bendom. 

Kao najozbiljniji kandidat za novog izdavača pominje se Universal koji je i objavio poslednji album grupe Take That "Progress" - drugi najbrže prodavani album u Velikoj Britaniji ikada.

Iako se Robbie raduje turneji, ne isključuje mogućnost da će morati da je preskoči ukoliko dobije ponudu koju "ne može da odbije".

Poslednji solo album, Reality Killed the Video Star, Robbie Williams je objavio 2009. godine.

After his former label EMI had refused to renew a contract with him in 2009, Robbie Williams reunited again with a band Take That after almost 20 years with whom he achieved a great success and he's back in demand now. According to various internet portals, there is a possibility that Robbie signs a new solo contract, which means that he'll have to skip an upcoming Take That tour. 

Universal, that released the latest Take That album Progress - which became the second fastest-selling album in the UK, has been mentioned as the most serious candidate for a new Robbie's label.

Although he's looking forward to the band tour, he might skip it out if he gets an offer that he "can't refuse".

The last solo album, Reality Killed the Video Star, Robbie Williams released in 2009.
