Beyonce potvrdila učešće u remiejku filmu "A Star Is Born" / Beyonce confirmes that she'll star in "A Star Is Born" remake

Beyonce je, gostujući u emisiji "Good Morning America", potvrdila da je prihvatila ulogu u novoj verziji filma "A Star Is Born" koju će režirati Clint Eastwood. Njen partner će najverovatnije biti Leonardo DiCaprio. Ovo je treći rimejk legendarnog filma iz 1937. godine sa Janet Gaynor i Fredricom Marchom u glavnim ulogama, a priča je obnovljena 1954. godine (Judy Garland i James Mason) i 1976. (Barbara Streisand i Kris Kristofferson). 

Beyonce kaže da obožava Eastwooda i da joj je velika čast što će se pojaviti baš u ovom filmu jer joj je jedan od omiljenih.

Beyonce, during her Good Morning America appearance, confirmed that that she accepted a role in a new version of "A Star Is Born" movie which will be directed by Clint Eastwood. Her partner will most probably be Leonardo DiCaprio. This is the third remake of a legendary movie from 1937 starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. The story was revived in 1954 (Judy Garland and James Mason) and 1976 (Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson).

Beyonce says that she's a huge fan of Eastwood and that she's very honored to be featured in this specific movie because it's one of her favorites.

Rihanna neće glumiti u rimejku "Telohranitelja" / Rihanna won't star in "The Bodyguard" remake

Iako je bilo pominjano da će Rihanna igrati u rimejku filma Telohranitelj, ova pevačica je u nedavnom intervjuu izjavila da se to neće dogoditi. Ona kaže da ne voli kad pevači glume u muzičkim filmovima. Za nju ne predstavlja izazov da bude pevačica na filmu pošto je to i u životu. Mlada pevačica kaže da bi na filmu radije igrala neki drugi lik.

Da podsetimo, već duže vreme kruže glasine da će u rimejku čuvenog filma iz devedesetih, ulogu koju je odigrala Whitney Houston dobiti Beyonce ili Rihanna. Situacija bi sad trebalo da bude jasnija.

Although it was rummored that Rihanna would star in a rimake of The Bodyguard, this singer denied it in her recent interview. She says she doesn't like when singers act in singing movies. It isn't a challenge for her to play a singer in the movie, because she's already a singer in a real life. The young singer says that she would rather play some other character in a movie.

To remind you, rummors have been ongoing for some time that in a remake of the famous movie from the 90's, Whitney Houston's role will play either Beyonce or Rihanna. The situation should be more clear now.

Rimejk "Telohranitelja"? / The Bodyguard remake?

Prema pisanju nekoliko internet portala, uskoro bi trebalo da počne snimanje rimejka filma Telohranitelj u kome su glavni protagonisti bili Kevin Costner i Whitney Houston.

Još nije poznato ko će ih zameniti u novoj verziji, ali glavna glumica će biti neko ko zna da glumi i peva. Spekuliše se da su glavni kandidati Beyonce i Jennfer Hudson, koje su se odlično pokazale u filmu Dreamgirls, ali pominje se i Rihanna (?!) za koju nisam siguran koliko odgovara zahtevima. Kao kandidat za glavnu mušku ulogu pominje se kanadski glumac Ryan Reynolds.

Originalna verzija filma postigla je veliki uspeh širom sveta. Pesma I Will Alway Love You koju izvodi Whitney Houston, inače obrada istoimene pesme kantri pevačice Dolly Parton, zadržala se 14 nedelja na vrhu Billboard Hot 100 liste i postala pevačicin zaštitni znak. Soundtrack filma prodat je u preko 44 miliona primeraka širom sveta što ga čini najprodavanijim soundtrackom svih vremena.

According to various internet portals, a filming of The Bodyguard movie remake, in which starred Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, should start soon.

It's unknown who'll replace them in a new version, but a main actress should be someone who can act and sing. It's been speculated that main candidates for this role are Beyonce and Jennfer Hudson, who proved their talents in Dreamgirls, but also Rihanna has been mentioned (?!) and I'm not sure if she meets the requirements... As the main candidate for a leading male role, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds has been mentioned.

An original movie turned out to be a big box office success. The song from this movie I Will Always Love You, covered by Whitney Houston and originally performed by Dolly Parton, spent 14 week on the top of Billboard Hot 100 chart and became Whitney's signature song. The soundtrack of the movie was sold in more than 44 million copies which makes it the best selling sountrack of all time.
