Jedan od osnivača kompanije Apple, Steve Jobs, umro je u 56. godini od posledica raka pankreasa. Iako mu je rak dijagnostikovan još 2004. godine, Jobs je do prošle godine radio kao generalni direktor kompanije.
Steve Jobs je čovek koji je potpuno promenio svet digitalnih tehnologija. Uveo je novi način slušanja muzike, gledanja filmova i televizije, komunikacije sa drugima putem mnogobrojnih uređaja.
Jobs stoji iza revolucionarnih proizvoda i programa kao što su: iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac i iTunes. Zahvaljujući njemu, Apple je postala jedna od najmoćnijih kompanija na svetu.
Jedno je sigurno - svet je izgubio velikog genija. Zaposleni u Apple-u su na zvaničnoj web stranici kompanije napisali:
"Apple je izgubio vizinara i kreativnog genija, a svet je izgubio neverovatno ljudsko biće. Mi koji smo bili dovoljno srećni da ga upoznamo i radimo sa njim izgubili smo dragog prijatelja i inspirativnog mentora. Steve je ostavio kompaniju koju je samo on mogao da stvori, a fondacija Apple će zauvek ostati njegov duh".

A co-founder of Apple company, Steve Jobs, has died at the age 56 after a long batlle with cancer. Although he had been diagnosed with cancer in 2004, he worked as a CEO of the company until the last year.
Steve Jobs revolutionised the world of technology. He changed the way that we listen to music, watch film and television, and communicate with others through our electronic devices.
Jobs was responsible for such iconic and ground-breaking pieces of technology as the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes, and helped make the company into the global powerhouse that it is today.
One thing is sure - the world has lost a big genious. Apple's empleyers posted a goodbye message to the company' official website:
"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who were fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple".
