Billboard Charts: Beyonce i LMFAO na vrhu glavnih lista / Beyonce & LMFAO top main charts

Ćetvrti solo album Beyonce, simbolički nazvan "4", zauzeo je prvo mesto na ovonedeljnoj Billboard Top 200 listi albuma sa 310 000 prodatih primeraka. Iako je ovo njen četvrti uzastopni #1 u Americi, ovo je njena najslabija prodaja kada je prva nedelja u pitanju. Najverovatniji razlog tome je što ovoga puta pevačica nije imala hit-singl pre objavljivanja albuma.

Što se ostalih noviteta tiče, debi album repera Big Sean "Finally Famous" stigao je do trećeg mesta (87 000), dok se treći album Diznijeve zvezde i devojke Justina Biebera, Selene Gomez, "When the Sun Goes Down" nalazi na četvrtom mestu (78 000), što je njena najbolja nedeljna prodaja do sada.

Drugi album bivšeg pobednika "Američkog Idola", Davida Cooka - "The Loud Morning", stigao je do sedmog mesta sa 46 000 prodatih primeraka, što je pad u odnosu na njegov prvi album koji je dospeo do trećeg mesta sa čak 280 000 primeraka. 

Poslednji top 10 novitet je kompilacija "American Idol Season 10 Highlights", koja se prodaje ekskluzivno u Walmartu, na desetom mestu (40 000).

Što se liste singlova tiče, duo LMFAO dobio je svoj prvi #1 hit na Billboard Hot 100 listi, jer je njihova pesma "Party Rock Anthem" napredovala sa trećeg na prvo mesto ove nedelje. Ova pesma je sa 258 000 downloada prošle nedelje bila najprodavanija u zemlji, dok po slušanosti na radio-stanicama zauzima treće mesto.

Zahvaljujući nastupu u finalu emisije "The Voice", aktuelni singl grupe OneRepublic "Good Life" napredovao je sa 18. na deveto mesto i ovo je njihov drugi top 10 hit u karijeri.

Prvi Hot 100 singl benda Hot Chelle Rae "Tonight, Tonight" napredovao je sa 13. mesta i nalazi se na desetom mestu ove nedelje.

Beyonce's fourth solo studio album, symbolycally titled "4", tops this week Billboard Top 200 chart with 310k copies sold. Although this is her 4th consecutive US #1 album, this is her lowest sale in a debut week, most probably because of a lack of hit-single.

As for otner new entries, a debut album by a rapper Big Seana "Finally Famous" bows at #3 (87k), while the third album by Disney star and Justin Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez "When the Sun Goes Down", starts at #4 with 78k, which is her best weekly sales to date.

The second album by ex "American Idol" winner, David Cook - "The Loud Morning", debuts at #7 (46k) which is a fall compared to his debut album that peaked at #3 with 288k.

The last top 10 new entry is Wallmart exclusive compilation "American Idol Season 10 Highlights" (#10, 40k).

As for the singles chart, LMFAO score their first Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit as their song "Party Rock Anthem" moves 3-1. With 258k downloads, it was the best-selling single last week. It also reaches #3 on Radio Songs chart.

Thanks to a performance in the final of "The Voice" talent show, OneRepublic score their second top 10 hit with "Good Life" as it moves 18-10.

The first Hot 100 single Hot Chelle Rae "Tonight, Tonight" jumps 13-10 this week.

UK Charts: Drugi #1 solo album za Beyonce / Beyonce scores her second #1 solo album

Novi album Beyonce, "4", debitovao je na prvom mestu britanske top-liste sa 89 hiljada prodatih primeraka. Beyonce je poslednji put do ove pozicije stigla sa svojim prvim albumom "Dangerously In Love" pre osam godina, ali njen najprodavaniji album u Velikoj Britaniji jeste njen prethodni album "I Am... Sasha Fierce" koji je do danas prodat u 1.411 hiljada primeraka.

Zahvaljujući Adele, čiji se albumi "21" i "19" nalaze na drugom i petom mestu, po prvi put se desilo u istoriji da se u top 5 nalaze tri albuma čiji su nazivi brojevi.

Pored Beyonce, u top 10 su još dva noviteta - prvi live album škotskog benda Biffy Clyro "Revolutions: Live at Wembley" (9. mesto, 12 715 primeraka) i novi studijski album grupe Kaiser Chiefs "The Future Is Medieval" (10. mesto, 12 469 primeraka). Ovo je treći top 10 album za Biffy Clyro i četvrti za Kaiser Chiefs, mada je ova pozicija razočaravajuća s obzirom na to da su njihova prethodna tri albuma bila u top 2.

Što se liste singlova tiče, "Don't Wanna Go Home" Jasona Derula nalazi se na prvom mestu drugu nedelju zaredom (60 316).

Zahvaljujući fantastičnom nastupu na Glastonbury festivalu, aktuelni singl Beyonce "Best Thing I Never Had" stigao je do trećeg mesta (51 365) i ovo je njen sedmi top 3 hit.

Novi singl Katy Perry "Last Friday Night" dospeo je u top 10 ove nedelje i nalazi se na devetom mestu (35 983) što je njen sedmi top 10 hit.

Nastup na Glastonburyju pomogao je i grupi Coldplay da se vrati u top 10 sa "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" (10. mesto, 35 261).

Beyonce's new album "4" debuts at #1 at tthe UK Albums chart with 89k copies sold. The last time Beyonce reached the top spot was in 2003 with her debut album "Dangerously In Love", but her UK best-selling album was her previous effort "I Am... Sasha Fierce" which has been sold in 1 411k copies.

Recenzija: Beyonce - 4 / Review: Beyonce - 4

Jedan od najiščekivanijih albuma godine "4" od Beyonce "procureo" je na net. Ukoliko ga još niste preslušali evo šta možete da očekujete. Naravno, ovo su samo impresije autora bloga sa kojima se ne morate složiti.

1. "1+1" - Album otvara, u najmanju ruku, bezlična balada sa više nego jednostavnim tekstom, bez pamtljive melodije čija je jedina svrha, verovatno, da pokaže izuzetne vokalne sposobnosti Beyonce. (6/10)
2. "I Care" - Pesma počinje vrlo zanimljivo sa mračnim i mističnim vibeom, a onda dolazi refren koji kao da je uzet iz neke druge pesme i kvari kompletan utisak. (7/10)
3. "I Miss You" - Veoma lepa balada, nenapadna i prijatna za slušanje. Odlična pesma za opuštanje. (9/10)
4. "The Best Thing I Never Had" - Drugi singl sa albuma. Ovo jeste balada na koju nemam većih zamerki, ali je daleko od onoga što je Beyonce objavljivala u prošlosti. (8/10)
5. "Party" - Ovo je rezultat saradnje sa Andreom 3000 i Kanye Westom. Kada imate ovakve hitmejkere očekujete pravi boom od pesme, a sve što smo dobili je klasična R'n'B pesma savršena za letnja popodneva, ali ni po čemu specifičnu. (7/10)
6. "Rather Die Young" - Tipična R'n'B midtempo pesma (7/10)
7. "Start Over" - jedna od boljih balada na albumu sa moćnim refrenom, ali i dalje ispod očekivanja (8/10)
8. "Love On Top" - Vesela, pozitivna R'n'B pesma sa retro vibeom. Dopadljivo (8/10)
9. "Countdown" - Interesantna produkcija, mada na momente podseća na Rihanninu pesmu "Raining Men". (7/10)
10. End of Time" - Trebalo je da prođe devet pesama kako bismo konačno dobili Beyonce koju znamo i volimo. Iako nije ništa inovativno, bar je stil prepoznatljiv. (9/10)
11. "I Was Here" - Definitivno najbolja balada na albumu i jedna od njenih najboljih uopšte. Ukoliko je njena izdavačka želela da objavi baladu kao drugi singl, ovo je trebalo biti ta. Jedna od onih "da se naježiš" pesama. (10/10)
12. "Who Run the World" (Girls) - Prvi singl sa albuma koji nije najbolje prošao kod publike, s razlogom. Ideja ženske himne je interesantna, ali u ovoj pesmi nedovoljno realizovana i tokom cele pesme stiče se utisak da je previše nečega, a da opet nešto nedostaje. Na stranu to što pesma nema početak, sredinu i kraj, što bi se reklo. (8/10)

Na kraju mogu da kažem da je ovaj album daleko ispod "I'm Sasha Fierce" koji smatram remek-delom savremene muzike. Bojim se da Beyonce sa ovim albumom nema da ponudi mnogo više od već objavljenih singlova koji nisu prošli zavidno. Bez reizdanja prodaja ovog albuma može biti prilično razočaravajuća.

One of the most expected albums this year "4" by Beyonce has leaked online. In case you haven't listen to it yet, here's what you can expect from it. Of course, this is the blog author's review that you don't have to agree with.

1. "1+1" - The album opener is a bland ballad, to say at least, with more than simple lyrics and without catchy melody. The purpose of this track is probably to show amazing vocal abilities of Beyonce. (6/10)
2. "I Care" - This song has a very interesting beginning with dark and misterious vibe. But than comes a chorus that sounds like a rip-off of some other song which ruins a total impression. (7/10)
3. "I Miss You" - Very nice, emotinal and easy-going ballad. Great for relaxing (9/10)
4. "The Best Thing I Never Had" - The second single from the album. I can't say that this song is bad, on the contrary, but it's far from epic ballads she released in the past. (8/10)
5. "Party" - This is a collab with Andre 3000 and Kanye West. When you have hitmakers like these, you expect a real boom from a track, but this is just a typical R'n'B track perfect for summer afternoons, but that's about it. (7/10)
6. "Rather Die Young" - A typical R'n'B midtempo track. Album filler. (7/10)
7. "Start Over" - One of better ballads in the album with powerful chorus, but still below expectations. (8/10)
8. "Love On Top" - Cheerfull R'n'B track with a retro vibe. Cute and likeable. (8/10)
9. "Countdown" - Interesting production, but it reminds me in some parts of Rihanna's "Raining Men". (7/10)
10. End of Time" - It should've past nine tracks before we get Beyonce we all know and love. This track doesn't sound new or fresh (9/10)
11. "I Was Here" - Definitely the best ballad in the album and one of her best overall. This is a highlight of the album. If her label wanted to release a ballad as the second single, this should've been the one. One of those songs that gives you goosebumps. (10/10)
12. "Who Run the World" (Girls) - The first single that failed to get a commercial success, with a reason. An idea about girls anthem is interesting, but it seems that this idea wasn't finalized in the best way. Through the whole song I got an impression that there is too much of something and still something misses beside that this song doesn't have the begining, middle and the end. (8/10)

In the end I can say that this album is far from "I'm Sasha Fierce" which I consider for a masterpiece of a contemporary music. I'm afraid that Beyonce can't offer much more than already released singles. Without a re-release the sales of this album can be quite disappointing.

A long awaited Beyonce's video for Who Run the World (Girls) after many teasers has been finally premiered in American Idol. The video which was directed by Francis Lawrence is set in an apocalyptic world in which the singer leads a determined army of suporters.

The last album   I Am... Sasha Fierce, Beyonce released in November 2008 and this album has been sold in 8M copies to date. Now let's wait and see how the audience will accept new songs. Hopefully, much better than her first single.

Da, dobro ste pročitali - 4. Vrlo inspirativno. Ovo je njen četvrti album, a Beyonce dodaje da je ovaj broj značajan jer je rođena četvrtog, njena majka je rođena četvrtog, mnogi njeni prijatelji su rođeni četvrtog, ona se venčala četvrtog. Shvatili smo. Broj 4 je važan za nju, ali izgleda da je in da se brojevi koriste kao nazivi albuma (vidi pod Adele). 

Datum objavljivanja četvorke za sada još nije poznat, ali svi jedva čekamo.

Da podsetimo, Beyonce je već objavila single Who Run the World (Girls) koji nije zavidno prošao na svetskim top-listama, pa se nadamo da će na novom albumu biti uspešnijih (i boljih) pesama.

Yes, you've read it well - 4. How inspiring is that. This is her fourth album, but Beyonce says that this number means a lot to her, because she was born on 4th, her mother was born on 4th, many her friends were born on 4th, she got married on 4th... Ok, we got it, 4 is important to her, but it seems it becomes a trend to put numbers as album titles (see Adele).

Still, the release date of 4 remains unknown, but we all are looking forward to.

To remind you, Beyonce has already released a single Who Run the World (Girls) which hasn't score great results on charts, so we hope that the album features more successful (and better) songs.
