UK Charts: Steps na vrhu liste albuma / Steps Top Albums Chart

Pop grupa Steps, koja je ponovo oformljena u maju ove godine nakon 10 godina pauze, nalazi se na vrhu britanske liste albuma sa njihovom najnovijom kompilacijom - "The Ultimate Collection" (34 200). Ovo je njihov treći #1 album.

U top 10 su još čak pet noviteta! Iako je novi album grupe Evanescence, nazvan po njima, bio najprodavaniji na početku nedelje, na kraju je završio na četvrtom mestu (26 221). U svakom slučaju, ovo je njihov treći uzastopni top 5 album.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "The Awaking" Jamesa Morrisona, pao je na peto mesto (21 760).

Novi album velške pevačice Katherine Jenkins, "Daydream", zauzima šesto mesto (15 977), što je sedmi top 10 album za nju.

Drugi album Jasona Derula, "Future History", debitovao je na sedmom mestu (15 646), za jednu poziciju više u odnosu na njegov prvi album.

Zahvaljujući nedavnim TV gostovanjima, album Cee-Lo Greena, "The Lady Killer", vraća se u top 10  (8. mesto, 15 537).

Kantri pevač, Ryan Adams, dobio je svoj prvi top 10 album u Velikoj Britaniji zahvaljujući izdanju "Ashes & Fire" koje se nalazi na devetom mestu (13 464).

Poslednji top 10 novitet je novi album Cliffa Richarda, "Soulicious" (13 031). Ovo je album na kome se nalaze dueti sa R&B velikanima poput Roberte Flack, Deniece Williams i Billyem Paulom. Takođe, ovo je njegov 39. top 10 album, što je rekord u kategoriji muških izvođača.

Što se liste singlova tiče, Rihanna je zadržala prošlonedeljnu #1 poziciju sa "We Found Love" (106 553). 

Kao novitet na trećem mestu je saradnja grupe Gym Class Heroes i Adama Levina - "Stereo Hearts" (68 287). Ovo je njihov četvrti top 10 singl. 

Zahvaljujući izvođenju jednog od takmičara u X-Factoru, u top 5 se vraća hit Christine Perri - "Jar of Hearts" (4. mesto, 63 832).

Drugi singl Matta Cardlea, pobednika prošlogodišnjeg X-Factora, "Run for Your Life" debitovao je na šestom mestu (39 663).

U top 10 je dospela i Charlene Soraia sa obradom pesme grupe The Calling - "Wherever You Will Go" (7. mesto, 38 724).

Thanks to a performance of one of X-Factor contestants, a big hit of Christina Perri - "Jar of Hearts", returns to top 10 (#4, 63 832).

Engleski indi rok bend Kasabian dobio je treći uzastopni #1 album zahvaljujući izdanju "Velociraptor!". Ovaj album prošle nedelje prodat je u 94 088 primeraka, duplo više od prošlonedeljnog #1 albuma, "+" Eda Sheerana, koji je ove nedelje prodat u dodatnih 47 110 primeraka. 

U top 10 su još dva noviteta. Album Tonya Bennetta, "Duets II", nalazi se na petom mestu (19 129). Ovo je njegov tek drugi top 10 album u 45 godina dugoj karijeri.

Nakon uspeha u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, u Velikoj Britaniji je prošle nedelje objavljen debi album pevačice Christine Perri, "lovestrong.", koji zauzima deveto mesto (15 816).

Što se liste singlova tiče, prvi solo singl člana benda N-Dubz, Dappya, nazvan "No Regrets", dospeo je do top pozicije (96 639).

U top 10 su još dva noviteta. Jason Derulo je stigao do četvrtog mesta sa njegovim novim singlom, "It Girl" (58 118). Ovo je njegov peti top 5 hit.

Novi singl Jamesa Morrisona, "I Won't Let You Go", debitovao je na petom mestu.

Zahvaljujući izvođenjima kandidata u X-Factoru, u top 10 su i Ed Sheeran sa "The A Team" (7. mesto, 35 060) i Damien Rice sa "Cannonball" (9. mesto, 28 497).

English indie rock band Kasabian scores their third consecutive #1 album thanks to a release "Velociraptor!". This album was sold in 94 088 copies last week, 2 times more than a last week #1, Ed Sheeran's "+", 47 110 this week.

There are two more entries inside top 10. Tony Bennett's "Duets II" debuts at #5 (19 129). This is only his second top 10 album in 45-year long career.

UK Charts: Drugi #1 solo album za Beyonce / Beyonce scores her second #1 solo album

Novi album Beyonce, "4", debitovao je na prvom mestu britanske top-liste sa 89 hiljada prodatih primeraka. Beyonce je poslednji put do ove pozicije stigla sa svojim prvim albumom "Dangerously In Love" pre osam godina, ali njen najprodavaniji album u Velikoj Britaniji jeste njen prethodni album "I Am... Sasha Fierce" koji je do danas prodat u 1.411 hiljada primeraka.

Zahvaljujući Adele, čiji se albumi "21" i "19" nalaze na drugom i petom mestu, po prvi put se desilo u istoriji da se u top 5 nalaze tri albuma čiji su nazivi brojevi.

Pored Beyonce, u top 10 su još dva noviteta - prvi live album škotskog benda Biffy Clyro "Revolutions: Live at Wembley" (9. mesto, 12 715 primeraka) i novi studijski album grupe Kaiser Chiefs "The Future Is Medieval" (10. mesto, 12 469 primeraka). Ovo je treći top 10 album za Biffy Clyro i četvrti za Kaiser Chiefs, mada je ova pozicija razočaravajuća s obzirom na to da su njihova prethodna tri albuma bila u top 2.

Što se liste singlova tiče, "Don't Wanna Go Home" Jasona Derula nalazi se na prvom mestu drugu nedelju zaredom (60 316).

Zahvaljujući fantastičnom nastupu na Glastonbury festivalu, aktuelni singl Beyonce "Best Thing I Never Had" stigao je do trećeg mesta (51 365) i ovo je njen sedmi top 3 hit.

Novi singl Katy Perry "Last Friday Night" dospeo je u top 10 ove nedelje i nalazi se na devetom mestu (35 983) što je njen sedmi top 10 hit.

Nastup na Glastonburyju pomogao je i grupi Coldplay da se vrati u top 10 sa "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" (10. mesto, 35 261).

Beyonce's new album "4" debuts at #1 at tthe UK Albums chart with 89k copies sold. The last time Beyonce reached the top spot was in 2003 with her debut album "Dangerously In Love", but her UK best-selling album was her previous effort "I Am... Sasha Fierce" which has been sold in 1 411k copies.

Thanks to Adele, whose albums "21" and "19" are at #2 and #5 this week, this is the first time in the UK charts history that three albums with numbers as titles occupy top 5.

Beside Beyonce, there are two more top 10 new entries - the first live album by Biffy Clyro "Revolutions: Live at Wembley" (#9, 12 715) and Kaiser Chiefs' new studio album "The Future Is Medieval"  (#10, 12 469). This is the third top top 10 album for Biffy Clyro and fourth for Kaiser Chiefs, although it's disappointing considering that their three previous albums reached top 2.

As for the Singles chart, Jason Derulo holds #1 for the second week with "Don't Wanna Go Home" (60 316).

Thanks to an amazing Glastonbury performance, the latest Beyonce's single "Best Thing I Never Had" flies to #3 (51 365) and this is her 7th top 3 hit.

Katy Perry's latest single "Last Friday Night" enters top 10 this week at #9 (35 983) making it Perry's 7th top 10 hit.

Glastonbury performance also helped Coldplay to return to top 10 with "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" (#10, 35 261).

UK Charts: Drugi #1 singl za Jasona Derula / The second #1 single for Jason Derulo

Zahvaljujući nedavnim nastupima u Velikoj Britaniji, aktuelni album Lady Gage "Born This Way" vratio se na prvo mesto top-liste albuma sa 47 000 prodatih primeraka. Ovo je druga nedelja na prvom mestu za ovaj album.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album "Progress/Progressed" grupe Take That pao je na treće mesto sa 33 000 prodatih primeraka.

Jedini top 10 novitet ove nedelje je drugi album grupe Bon Iver nazvan po njima koji se nalazi na četvrtom mestu (32 000). Njihov debi album "For Emma, Forever Ago" stigao je tek do 42. mesta i do danas je prodat u 150 000 primeraka. Zbog "mirne" nedelje bez velikog broja novih izdanja, u top 10 su se vratili "Doo Wops & Hooligans" Bruna Marsa (8) i Rihannin album "Loud" (9).

Što se liste singlova tiče, novi singl mladog američkog pevača Jasona Darula "Don't Wanna Go Home" debitovao je na prvom mestu (76 000) i ovo je njegov drugi #1 singl u karijeri.

Prošlonedeljni #1 singl "Changed the Way You Kiss Me" Examplea pao je posle dve nedelje na vrhu na drugo mesto (59 000).

Pesma "Badman Riddim (Jump)" Vatoa Gonzaleza drugi je i poslednji top 10 novitet ove nedelje na sedmom mestu, dok se aktuelni singl Lady Gage "The Edge of Glory" vratio u top 10 na osmo mesto.

Thanks to recent UK performances, the latest Lady Gaga's album "Born This Way" returns to the top of the Albums chart with 47k copies sold. This is the second week on the top for this album.

Last week #1 album "Progress/Progressed" by Take That falls to #3 (33k).
The only new top 10 entry is Bon Iver's self-titled album at #4 (32k). Their debut  "For Emma, Forever Ago" reached only #42 and it was sold in 150k copies to date. 
Because there were no big releases last week, Bruno Mars' "Doo Wops & Hooligans" (8) and Rihanna's "Loud" (9) return to top 10.
As for the Singles chart, Jason Darulo scores his second #1 single with "Don't Wanna Go Home" (76k).
The last week #1 single "Changed the Way You Kiss Me" by Example falls to #2 (59k). 
"Badman Riddim (Jump)" by Vato Gonzalez is the second and last top 10 new entry (#7), while the latest Lady Gaga's single "The Edge of Glory" returns to top 10 at #8.
