Nakon što su snimili duet "The Lady Is a Tramp", Tony Bennett i Lady Gaga snimiće i zajednički jazz album, potvrdio je legendarni pevač. On kaže da ga je Gaga pozvala i rekla da želi da snimi jazz album sa njim, što je on odmah prihvatio. Bennett nije želeo da priča o detaljima, osim da će na snimanjima biti angažovan veliki swing bend. Takođe je dodao da je Gaga sjajna jazz pevačica, što će na ovom izdanju ljudi i sami primetiti.

Fondacija Amy Winehouse dodeljuje nagrade

Fondacija Amy Winehouse, kojom upravlja njena porodica, godinu dana nakon smrti pevačice počeće da dodeljuje nagradu Inspiration. Gala događaj u Njujorku planiran je za oktobar, a prvi dobitnik biće Tony Bennett, sa kojim je Amy snimila duet "Body and Soul" neposredno pre smrti.

Fondacija Amy Winehouse funkcioniše sa obe strane Atlantika - u Engleskoj novac se prikuplja za prevenciju bolesti zavisnosti, dok u Americi fondacija se bavi prikupljanjem sredstava za dodatne edukativne programe u kojima se mladi bave muzikom.

Much like Bennett and Amy Winehouse’s clip for “Body And Soul,” this one offers up a simple setting - the two artists are in a recording studio together, delivering thir own version of 1930s classic.

Billboard Charts: 85-godišnji Tony Bennett stigao do prvog #1 albuma / Tony Bennett, 85, scores his first #1 album

Kažu da nikada nije kasno, a to ove nedelje potvrđuje 85-godišnji Tony Bennett. Njegov album "Duets II" dospeo je do prvog mesta Billboard Top 200 liste sa 179 000 prodatih primeraka. Osim što je ovo njegov prvi #1 album, Bennett je postao najstarija osoba koja je stigla do vrha ove liste.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "Own the Night" grupe Lady Antebellum, pao je na drugo mesto (125 000).

U top 10 je još pet noviteta ove nedelje. Na četvrtom mestu je treći album mlade pevačice i glumice Demi Lovato, "Unbroken" (96 000). Njen prethodni album, "Here We Go Again", debitovao je na prvom mestu, dok je njen prvi album, "Don't Forget", stigao do drugog mesta.

Top 10 novitet ove nedelje je novi singl dua LMFAO, "Sexy and I Know It", koji je napredovao sa 25. na 10. mesto. Ova pesma se po prodaji nalazi na šestom mestu (139 000), dok je po slušanosti na radio-stanicama na 45. mestu.

English indie rock band Kasabian scores their third consecutive #1 album thanks to a release "Velociraptor!". This album was sold in 94 088 copies last week, 2 times more than a last week #1, Ed Sheeran's "+", 47 110 this week.

Country trio Lady Antebellum dobio je i drugi #1 album zahvaljujući izdanju "Own the Night" koje je prodato u 347 000 primeraka prošle nedelje. Ovo je najbolja nedeljna prodaja ove godine u kategoriji bendova.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "The Carter IV", Lila Wayna, pao je na treće mesto (117 000).

Country pevač, Brantley Gilber, vraća se na top-listu, na četvrto mesto, zahvaljujući reizdanju njegovog albuma "Halfway to Heaven" (51 000). Ovo je najbolja pozicija i nedeljna prodaja u njegovoj karijeri. 

U top 10 su još tri noviteta koja dolaze od rok bendova. Na petom mestu je novi album grupe Staind, nazvan po njima, (47 000). Ovo je njihov četvrti top 10 album. Dream Theater su na osmom sa "A Dramatic Turn of Events" (40 000), njihov drugi top 10 album. 

Poslednji top 10 novitet je album benda Devil Wears Prada, "Dead Throne", na desetom mestu (32 000). Ovo je ista pozicija do koje je dospeo i njihov prethodni album "Zombie".

Što se liste singlova tiče, Maroon 5 i Christina Aguilera zadržali su prošlonedeljnu #1 poziciju sa "Moves Like Jagger". Ovo je bila i najprodavanija i najslušanija pesma prošle nedelje.

The last top 10 new entry this week is Devil Wears Prada's latest set "Dead Throne" at #10 (32 000). The same position reached their previous release "Zombie".

As for the singles chart, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera keep their #1 spot with "Moves Like Jagger". This song is #1 on both, Digital and Radio Songs, charts.

There's one record broken on Hot 100 chart this week. A duet by 84-year-old Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse, "Body and Soul", reaches #87 so Bennett becomes the oldest musician who entered this chart.

Duet Amy Winehouse i Tonya Bennetta, "Body and Soul", upravo je objavljen, na dan kada bi bio njen 28. rođendan. Ova prijatna jazz numera poslednja je pesma koju je ova talantovana pevačica snimila pre smrti i naći će se na Bennettovom albumu "Duets II".

Sva sredstva od prodaje biće uplaćena fondaciji koja nosi njeno ime, koja danas počinje sa radom, za pomoć mladim ljudima.

Povodom objavljivanja pesme njen otac Mitch je izjavio:

"Amy je bila zaista srećna zbog saradnje sa Tonyem Bennettom i jedva je čekala da njeni fanovi čuju ovu pesmu. Razlog zbog kog ona zvuči tako dobro je taj što peva sa ovim velikim umetnikom i to je najveća počast u ovim teškim vremenima".

A duet of Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett, "Body and Soul" has been released, on what would have been her 28th birthday. This easygoing jazz track is her final recording and will be featured on Bennett's album "Duets II".

All proceeds from the release will go to Amy Winehouse Fonadation, a charity organisation for helping youth in trouble, that also launshes today.

Her father Mitch commented on this duet:

"Amy was so excited to be working with Tony Bennett and really looking forward to her fans hearing this new recording. The fact that Amy's voice is sounding as amazing and beautiful as ever and she is singing with the great Tony Bennett seems the most fitting tribute of all at this very difficult time".

Poslednja pesma koju je snimila Amy Winehouse, "Body and Soul", inače duet sa Tonyem Bennettom, biće objavljena u sredu, 14. septembra, na dan kada bi Amy proslavila 28. rođendan. Sva sredstva biće uplaćena novotvorenoj fondaciji koja nosi njeno ime za pomoć mladim ljudima. Istog dana biće objavljen i video na kome možemo videti dvoje umetnika kako izvode ovu numeru u studiju.

Pesma će se naći na Bennettovom albumu "Duets II" koji će biti objavljen 19. septembra.

This special recording is released on what would have been Amy's 28th birthday, in aid of the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help young people in trouble. An accompanying video of the two singing the tracktogether in the studio will also be premiered.

Pevačica Amy Winehouse snimiće duet sa Tonyjem Bennettom koji će biti objavljen na njegovom albumu Duets II.  Detalji o pesmi za sada nisu poznati, ali se zna da će se na albumu naći i dueti sa Mariahom Carey, Sheryl Crow i Norahom Jones. 

Ovo će biti prva Amyna objavljena pesma još od 2007. godine kada je sa Markom Ronsonom sarađivala na obradi pesme Valerie benda The Zutons.

Album će biti objavljen 19. septembra.

Amy je trenutno u studiju i radi na novom albumu, a za 18. jun zakazan je njen koncert u Beogradu.

This will be the first song released with Amy's vocals since her collaboration with Mark Ronson on a cover of a song Valerie by The Zutons.

The album will be released on September 19th.

Amy is in the studio at the moment working on her new album and she's set to perform in Belgrade on June 18th.
