Billboard Charts: 85-godišnji Tony Bennett stigao do prvog #1 albuma / Tony Bennett, 85, scores his first #1 album

Kažu da nikada nije kasno, a to ove nedelje potvrđuje 85-godišnji Tony Bennett. Njegov album "Duets II" dospeo je do prvog mesta Billboard Top 200 liste sa 179 000 prodatih primeraka. Osim što je ovo njegov prvi #1 album, Bennett je postao najstarija osoba koja je stigla do vrha ove liste.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "Own the Night" grupe Lady Antebellum, pao je na drugo mesto (125 000).

U top 10 je još pet noviteta ove nedelje. Na četvrtom mestu je treći album mlade pevačice i glumice Demi Lovato, "Unbroken" (96 000). Njen prethodni album, "Here We Go Again", debitovao je na prvom mestu, dok je njen prvi album, "Don't Forget", stigao do drugog mesta.

Bend NeedToBreath dobio je prvi top 10 album. Njihov novi set, "The Reckoning", zauzima šesto mesto (49 000), što je njihova najbolja nedeljna prodaja.

Prvi album R&B grupe Mindless Behavior, "#1 Girl", našao se na sedmom mestu (36 000), dok je na osmom mestu novi album Gavina DeGrawa, "Sweeter", (34 000) - njegov drugi top 10 album.

Top 10 novitet ove nedelje je novi singl dua LMFAO, "Sexy and I Know It", koji je napredovao sa 25. na 10. mesto. Ova pesma se po prodaji nalazi na šestom mestu (139 000), dok je po slušanosti na radio-stanicama na 45. mestu.

Billboard Charts: "Moves Like Jagger" se vraća na vrh Hot 100 liste / "Moves Like Jagger" returns to the top of Hot 100

Lil Wayne je lako zadržao prošlonedeljnu #1 poziciju, jer je njegov novi album "The Carter IV" prodat u dodatnih 219 000 primeraka. 

Najprodavanije novo izdanje prošle nedelje bilo je "Here for a Good Time", novi album country legende Georga Straita. Njegov sedamnaesti top 10 album prodat je u 155 000 primeraka i zauzima treće mesto. 

Kompilacija grupe The Beatles iz 2000. godine, "1", ponovo je u top 10 zahvaljujući objavljivanju ovog izdanja na iTunesu. Nalazi se na čestvrtom mestu sa 60 000 primeraka.

Zahvaljujući uspehu singla "Moves Like Jagger" i popustu na iTunesu, album grupe Maroon 5, "Hands All Over", takođe se vraća u top 10 (7. mesto, 29 000).

U top 10 je i album grupe Foster the People, "Torches", zahvaljujući uspehu singla "Pumped Up Kicks" (10. mesto, 25 000).

The best-selling new release is the latest album by a country legend George Strait, "Here for a Good Time". His 17th top 10 album bows at #3 with 155k copies sold.

The Beatles' 2000 compilation album "1" reenters top 10 at #4 (60k), thank to an iTunes release.

Thanks to a success of a single "Moves Like Jagger" and iTunes discount, Maroon 5's album "Hands All Over" also returns to top 10 at #7 (29k).

Top 10 closes closes Foster the People's "Torches", which reenters due a popularity of a single "Pumped Up Kicks" (#10, 25k).

As for the singles chart, Adame Levine's and Christina Aguilera's duet "Moves Like Jagger" returns to the top after one week break. This was the best-selling song last week (220k), while it moves 8-5 on Radio Songs chart.

Last week #1, "Someone Like You" by Adele, slips to #2.

Rihanna scores her 4th top 10 hit this week from her latest album "Loud" as her latest single "Cheers (Drink to That)" moves 11-10.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "Watch the Throne", Jay-Zija i Kanye Westa, pao je na drugo mesto (94 000).

Novi album Barbare Streisand, "What Matters Most", debitovao je na četvrtom mestu (68 000). Ovo je njen 31. top 10 album čime je došla do trećeg mesta liste izvođača sa najviše top 10 albuma iza grupe Rolling Stones (36) i Franka Sinatre (33), a ispred grupe The Beatles (30).

Do petog mesta stigle su Pistol Annies, novi bend pevačice Mirande Lambert, sa albumom "Hell on Heels" (44 000).

Barbara Streisand's newest album, "What Matters Most", arrives at #4 (68 000). This is her 31st top 10 album which pulls her ahead of the Beatles for the third-most top 10s in history. (The fab four have 30.) Only the Rolling Stones (with 36) and Frank Sinatra (33) have more than Streisand.
Miranda Lambert's new band Pistol Annies debuts at #5 with "Hell On Heels" (44 000).
A cover album of "Muppets" songs - "Muppets: The Green Album" bows at #8 (30 000). Songs from the legendary show are performed by various famous performers.

Billboard Charts: Adele provela najveći broj nedelja na prvom mestu u 21. veku / Adele Notches Most Weeks at No. 1 in the 21th century

Aktuelni album Adele "21" nalazi se na prvom mestu po 12. put, što je najveći broj nedelja na vrhu još od Santaninog albuma "Supernatural" iz 1999. godine. Ovaj album prošle nedelje prodat je u 76 000 primeraka što je ukupno 2.9 miliona od objavljivanja pre 6 meseci.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album "Chief" Erica Churcha pao je na drugo mesto (53 000).

U top 10 su četiri noviteta. Novi album country pevača Tracea Adkinsa "Proud to be Here" stiže na treće mesto (47 000), što je njegov četvrti top 10 album. Četvrti studijski album Mata Kearneya "Young Love" debitovao je na četvrtom mestu (44 000), što je najbolja pozicija i nedeljna prodaja u njegovoj karijeri.

Na petom mestu je soundtrack Nickelodoenove serije "Victorious" (41 000), dok je na devetom mestu R'n'B kompilacija "Slow Grind" (32 000).

The latest Adele's album "21" spends the 12th week at #1 which is the most weeks on top since Santana's "Supernatural" back in 1999. This album was sold in 76k copies last week bringing total to 2.9 million.

The last week #1 album Eric Church's "Chief" slips to #2 (53k).

There are four new entries inside top 10. Trace Adkins' new studio album "Proud to be Here" reaches #3 (47k) which is his fourth top 10 album. The fourth studio album by Mat Kearney "Young Love" bows at #4 (44k), which is the best position and best weekly sales in his career.

A soundtrack from Nickelodoen's TV series "Victorious" starts at #5 (41k), while R'n'B compilation "Slow Grind" arrives at #9 (33k).

As for the singles chart, LMFAO with "Party Rock Anthem" block Katy Perry again to reach #1. But that maybe changes next week, because Katy has recently released a remix of "Last Friday Night" featuring Missy Elliot.

Christina Aguilera i frontmen grupe Maroon 5 Adam Levine snimili su duet koji će predstaviti u emisiji "The Voice", u kojoj su oboje sudije, 21. juna. Pesma se zove "Move Like Jagger" i Adam kaže da je uživao radeći sa Christinom kao i da jedva čeka da pesmu predstavi publici.

Zanimljiva saradnja, te i mi jedva čekamo utorak kako bismo čuli pesmu (ako se pre toga ne pojavi na netu ;).

Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine have recorded a duet that will be premiered on talent show "The Voice", in which they're both judges, on June 21. The song's title is "Move Like Jagger" and Adam says that it was great working with Christina and that he's looking forward to debuting the song.

It's an interesting collab, so we're looking farward to hearing the song too on Tuesday (in case the track doesn't leak earlier ;).
