Billboard Hot 100: Povratak J. Lo / The return of J. Lo

Na ovonedeljnoj listi najpopularnijih pesama u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama najveći uspeh beleži novi singl Jennifer Lopez (featuring Pitbull) On the Floor koji je debitovao na devetom mestu. Pesma je u prvoj nedelji prodata u oko 170 000 primeraka, što je bilo dovoljno da se nađe na trećem mestu Hot Digital Songs liste, a trenutno je i među 40 najslušanijih pesama u Americi. Ovo je prvi top 10 hit za J. Lo na Billboard Hot 100 listi još od od pesme All I Have (featuring LL Cool J) iz 2003. godine koja je provela četiri nedelje na prvom mestu. Takođe, ovo je njen najveći uspeh kada je prva nedelja u pitanju. Pesma On the Floor je prvi singl sa albuma Love? koji će biti objavljen 19. aprila, a ne 29. marta kako je prethodno rečeno, pa će na taj način biti izbegnuta borba sa novim albumom Britney Spears.

Što se ostatka liste tiče, Lady Gaga je sa Born This Way i dalje na prvom mestu. Pesma je ove nedelje prodata u 286 hiljada primeraka i trenutno je četvrta najslušanija pesma u Americi. Evo i ostatka liste (broj u zagradi je prošlonedeljna pozicija).

The biggest gainer on this week chart of the most popular songs in the USA is the new single by Jennifer Lopez  (featuring Pitbull) On the Floor which debuted at #9. The song was sold in 170k digital copies which was enough for #3 on Hot Digital Songs chart and it's within top 40 on airplay chart. This is the first top 10 hit for J. Lo on Billboard Hot 100 since four-week #1 All I Have (featuring LL Cool J) in 2003. This is also her best chart position in a debut week. On the Floor is the first single from an upcoming album Love? due to April 19 and not March 29 as previously announced, so the chart clash with a new Britney Spears album will be avoided.

Lady Gaga with Born This Way still holds #1. The song was sold in 288k copies last week and it's the 4th most popular song on the radio. Here's the rest of the top 10 (numer in brackets is the last week position).

Mick Jagger radi na novom solo albumu / Mick Jagger working on a new solo album

Frontman grupe Rolling Stones Mick Jagger trenutno je u Los Angelesu gde radi na svom novom solo albumu sa producentom Daveom Stewartom, otkrio je Jaggerov mlađi brat Chris u intervjuu za jednu portugalsku televiziju.

Jagger je poslednji solo album Goddess in the Doorway snimio 2001. godine.

Ovo nije prva saradnja između Jaggera i Davea Stewarta, koji je poznat kao član benda Eurythmics. Stewart je napisao nekoliko pesama za Jaggerov solo album iz 1987. Primitive Cool, a sarađivali su i na soundtracku za rimejk filma Alfie 2004. godine.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger works on his new solo record in L.A. with a producer Dave Stewart, Jagger's younger brother Chris revealed in an interview for a Portuguese TV station.

Jagger released has last solo album in 2001 titled Goddess in the Doorway.

This is not the first collaboration between Jagger and Dave Stewart, who is known as one half of Eurythmics. Stewart co-wrote few songs for Jagger's solo album from 1987 - Primitive Cool. They also collaborated on a soundtrack for Alfie movie remake from 2004.

Novi album grupe Coldplay u oktobru / New Coldplay album in October

Iako je prvobitno bilo najavljeno da će novi album grupe Coldplay biti objavljen u maju, na zvaničnom sajtu grupe saopšteno je da je došlo do promene plana, te da će novi album, peti po redu, biti objavljen u oktobru. Bend je na albumu počeo da radi u decembru 2009, dok je u junu prošle godine na njihovom sajtu rečeno da je album skoro završen. Međutim, jedina nova pesma koju smo čuli do sada je božićna Christmas Light. Ipak, kompenzacija fanovima biće to što će Coldplay ovog leta nastupiti na mnogim festivalima.

Da podsetim, Coldplay su poslednji studijski album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends objavili 2008. godine i sa njim postigli veliki uspeh.

Although originally announced that new Coldplay album will be released in May, their website reported that there was change of plan and their fifth album is scheduled for October now. The band started to work on this album in December 2009, while in June last year they posted on the official website that the album is nearly finished. But, the only song we've heard so far is Christmas song - Christmas Lights.  Still, a compensation for this delay to fans will be perofrmances at various festivals this summer. 

To remind you, their last studio album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends was released in 2008 and achieved a huge success.

Princea tužila advokatska firma / Prince Sued by NYC Law Firm

Jedna advokatska firma iz New Yorka tužila je legendarnog muzičara Princea zbog duga od oko 700 000$, piše Billboard. U ovoj kompaniji tvrde da pevač nije uplatio dug za razne pravne usluge, uključujući brakorazvodnu parnicu.
Prince se još nije oglasio povodom ovog slučaja.

A NYC law firm sued legendary musician Prince for 700k$ debt, Billboard reported. In this company claim that singer failed to pay for handling various cases, including his divorce.

Prince hasn't commented on this accusations yet.

Adele #1 i u Americi / Adele #1 in the USA too

Nakon neverovatnog uspeha u Evropi, drugi album Adele "21" bez problema je osvojio i američko tržište. Album je u prvoj nedelji prodat u preko 350 hiljada primeraka što je za sada najbolja prodaja u ovoj godini. 21 je i jedini novitet među 10 najprodavanijih albuma u Americi prošle nedelje. Ostatak liste je sličan prošlonedeljnoj. Justin Bieber i ove nedelje ima dva albuma u top 5, dok je uticaj Grammija i dalje primetan.

After incredible success in Europe, the second album by Adele - 21 with no problems conquered an american market as well. This album was sold in more than 350k copies in the first week which is the best one week sale in this year so far. 21 is the only new release among top 10 best-selling albums last week in the USA. The rest of the list is similar to one from the last week. Justin Biber still has two albums in top 5 and post-Grammy effect is still notable.

Amy Winehouse 18. juna na Kalemgdenu / Amy Winehouse on June 18th at Kalemegdan

Britanska pevačica Amy Winehouse održaće svoj prvi koncert u Beogradu 18. juna na Kalemegdanu, piše Blic. Amy će nastupiti u okviru povratničke turneje, dok se njen novi album očekuje krajem godine. Međutim, 

Amy na koncertu neće izvoditi nove pesme, već stare hitove i nekoliko obrada.

Očekuje se da krate za ovaj koncert uskoro budu puštene u prodaju.

Ova pevačica postala je planetarno poznata 2006. godine zahvaljujući hitu Rehab i albumu Back to Black koji je do danas prodat u preko 11 miliona primeraka i koji joj je doneo mnogobrojna priznanja, uključujući pet Grammyja.

Osim po muzici, ona je poznata i po velikom broju skandala zbog problema sa drogom. Ovaj problem pokušala je da reši nekoliko puta odlaskom na rehabilitaciju, ali bez uspeha. Ostaje da vidimo u kakvom će stanju nastpupiti u Beogradu.

British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse will have her first concert in Belgrade on June 18th at Kalemegdan, Blic reported. This concert is a part of the returning tour, while her new album is expected later this year. Amy won't perform new songs, but we'll hear old hits and few covers. 

It's expected that tickets go on sale soon.

This singer became famous world wide in 2006 thanks to her hit Rehab and an album Back to Black which was sold in more than 11 million copies to date and which brought her many awards including five Grammys. 

Apart from music, she's known for many sandals caused by her drug problems. She's tried to solve this problem few times going to a rehab, but without success. Let's wait and see in what condition she will be during her first concert in Belgrade. 

Uhapšena Christina Aguilera / Christina Aguilera arrested

Izgleda da je neko prokleo Christinu Aguileru. Njen poslednji album Bionic doživeo je debakl, pogrešila je reči nacionalne himne na Super Bowlu, umalo nije pala na dodeli Grammyja, a sada je uhapšena zbog pijanstva.

Njen dečko Matthew Rutler i ona očigledno su se ludo provodili u Los Angelesu dok ih policija nije zaustavila i uhapsila. Njega zbog vožnje u pijanom stanju, a nju zbog pijanstva u javnosti. Očevici kažu da je Christina bila toliko pijana da nije znala za sebe. Ona je puštena uz kauciju od 250 dolara, dok je njen momak morao da izdvoji 30 000 dolara. Mislim da je krajnje vreme da Chris popriča sa belim magom...

It looks like that somebody cursed Christina Aguilera. First, her latest album Bionic flopped hard, then she messed up lyrics of national anthem at Super Bowl, she almost fell at Grammys and now she's arrested because of public intoxication.

Her boyfriend Matthew Rutler and she obviously had had fun until police arrested them both. Him because of driving under the influence and her because of public intoxication. Witnesses say that Christina was extremly intoxicated and she was unable to take care of herself. She was released with 250$ bail, while her boyfriend had to pay 30 000$. I think it's a high-time that she have a conversation with a white mage.
