Britanske top-liste: Elton John dobio sedmi #1 album

Album "Good Morning to the Night" debitovao je sa 14 342 prodatih primeraka.

Elton John confirmed  that a jukebox musical based on his life is in the works, and that he’d like Justin Timberlake to portray him in the film.

“I’ve got a wish list of people. No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of "Rocket Man" and was superb,” (check out a video below), the singer told the Los Angeles Times.

He added that he and his partner David Furnish will be producing the film. Here's how Elton John described the musical:

"That would be a jukebox musical in earnest, maybe with a couple of new songs. You never know. Because it’s going to be a surreal look at my life, and not just a factual look at my life, more in the manner of a Moulin Rouge! I just don’t want it to be a normal biopic because my life hasn’t been like that. And it only goes up to when I go into rehab in 1990. It starts with me going into rehab and ends when I come out”.

So, what do you think, is Justin Timberlake the right choice for this part?

Oscar 2012: 39 pesama u trci za najbolju originalnu pesmu (i nema Madonne!) / 39 Songs vying for Best Original Song (and there's no Madonna!)

Kompletnu listu možete pogledati ispod ovog posta.

Academy has announced a longlist of 39 contenders for Best Original Song Oscar award nomination. The biggest attention got an absence of Madonna's "Masterpiece", a song she wrote for her directorial movie "W.E." and which scored a Golden Globe nomination in the same category.

Apparently, the song is ineligible because of a rule that elements of a song must be used in a body of a film, while "Masterpiece" plays for the first time during the end credits.
Still, the list features some big names who also scored Golden Globe nod such as Elton John, Lady Gaga and Mary J. Blige.
A voting procedure starts on January 5, while nominations will be revealed on January 24 2012.
