Grammy 2012: Potpuna dominacija Adele

In the Deep"), Pesma godine ("Rolling In the Deep"), Najbolje pop vokalno izvođenje ("Someone Like You"), Najbolji pop album ("21") i Najbolji spot ("Rolling In the Deep").

Njihovo novo izdanje "Any Man in America" nalazi se na osmom mestu (27 000).

Novi singl Lil Wayna "She Will" debitovao je na trećem mestu.

Billboard Charts: Adele i Katy Perry i dalje na prvim mestima / Adele and Katy Perry still hold #1 spots

Kompletan top 10 albuma i singlova pogledajte ispod ovog posta.

It's a sleepy post-Easter week on Billboard charts, so there's no much news to share. Adele's 21 tops  Billboard Top 200 chart for the sixth time this year selling additional 124k copies.

There isn't a single debut in the top 10, but two releases return to the 10 best-selling titles due to overall weak sales - Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" (#8, 24k) and Wiz Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" (#9, 23k).

As for the Billboard Hot 100 chart Katy Perry still holds #1 with E.T. This song set a new record as the most played song on radio stations on weekly basis. The song was played 12 330 times on 131 station in a week between April 25 and May 1. Katy broke her own record with this, because the previous record holder was the first single from Teenage Dream album California Gurls (12 159 plays).

Thanks to a remix with Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, the latest Britney Spears' single Till The World Ends jumps to #3, the highest position for this song so far.

Many pop stars are falsely credited as songwriters!

***

You may not know who Heather Bright is, but she's very well known in the music industry because she wrote many songs for Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Usher, Akon, Michael Jackson and many others. In an interview for Free-Wired she revealed that many pop starts are falsely credited as co-writers of their songs, although they didn't write a single note or word. In that way they get money from publishing they didn't earn. Medias often accuse Beyonce for doing this, but Heather says she's not the only one. Although it's supposed that authors get more money from publishing, that's not always a case and it depends on who the artist is.

Rihanna takes publishing, Justin Bieber takes publishing, Kanye West takes publishing. On all the stuff that they don’t write, they take publishing.

The most recent example for this is a hit by Justin Bieber "Somebody to Love" that was written by Heather, but Bieber is credited too although he only sang the song.
Still, Bright praised artists that really wite their songs such as Lady Gaga. But she also praised Britney Spears, for whom Heather wrote Trouble for Me from the latest album Femme Fatale, because according to Heather , Britney doesn't take writing credits for songs she didn't write.
