Billboard Charts: Adele i Katy Perry i dalje na prvim mestima / Adele and Katy Perry still hold #1 spots

Protekli praznici doprineli su tome da ove nedelje nema mnogo zanimljivosti na Billboard listama. Adele je sa albumom 21 i dalje na prvom mestu, po šesti put ove godine. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 124 hiljade primeraka. 

Novih izdanja u top 10 nema, ali su se zbog generalno slabe prodaje u 10 najprodavanijih vratili albumi Katy Perry "Teenage Dream" (8. mesto, 24 hiljade primeraka) i Wiz Khalife "Rolling Papers" (9. mesto, 23 hiljade primeraka).

Što se Billboard Hot 100 liste singlova tiče, Katy Perry je i dalje #1 sa pesmom E.T. Ova pesma postavila je novi rekord najpuštanije pesme na radio stanicama u nedelji između 25. aprila i 1. maja kada je zabeleženo 12 330 puštanja na 131 stanici. Katy je time oborila sopstveni rekord, jer je ovaj rekord držao njen prvi single sa albuma Teenage Dream "California Gurls" (12 159 emitovanja). 

Zahvaljujući remixu sa Nicki Minaj i Ke$hom, aktuelni single Britney Spears "Till the World Ends" stigao je do trećeg mesta, što je za sada najviše pozicija za ovu pesmu.

It's a sleepy post-Easter week on Billboard charts, so there's no much news to share. Adele's 21 tops  Billboard Top 200 chart for the sixth time this year selling additional 124k copies.

There isn't a single debut in the top 10, but two releases return to the 10 best-selling titles due to overall weak sales - Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" (#8, 24k) and Wiz Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" (#9, 23k).

As for the Billboard Hot 100 chart Katy Perry still holds #1 with E.T. This song set a new record as the most played song on radio stations on weekly basis. The song was played 12 330 times on 131 station in a week between April 25 and May 1. Katy broke her own record with this, because the previous record holder was the first single from Teenage Dream album California Gurls (12 159 plays).

Thanks to a remix with Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, the latest Britney Spears' single Till The World Ends jumps to #3, the highest position for this song so far.

Billboard Charts: Dominacija Adele se nastavlja! / Adele continues to dominate US charts!

Adele se sa albumom 21 po peti put nalazi na vrhu liste najprodavanijih albuma u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 153 hiljade primeraka (65% više u odnosu na prošlu nedelju) i ovo je druga najbolja prodaja za 21 od objavljivanja u februaru.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album Wasting Light grupe Foo Fighters pao je na treće mesto sa 72 hiljade prodatih primeraka (pad za 69% u odnosu na prošlu nedelju).

Najnoviji soundtrack iz serije Glee "The Glee presents the Warblers" debitovao je na drugom mestu 86 hiljada prodatih primeraka što je do sada najmanja prodaja za Glee soundtrack.

Soundtrack za novi Diznijev film Lemonade Mouth beleži skok sa 18. na četvrto mesto zahvaljujući velikom broju repriza tokom prošle nedelje i popustu u Target prodavnicama. Ovaj soundtrack prodat je u 69 hiljada primeraka prošle nedelje što je za čak 222% više u odnosu na prošlu nedelju.

Popust u Targetu pomogao je i Justinu Bieberu da se vrati u top 10 sa remix albumom Never Say Never: the Remixes (36 hiljada prodatih primeraka).

Nastup u American Idolu omogućio je Katy Perry da se vrati na prvo mesto Billboard Hot 100 liste singlova sa pesmom E.T. E.T. je trenutno najprodavanija i najslušanija pesma na radio-stanicama.

Prošlonedeljni #1 single S&M koji izvode Rihanna i Britney Spears pao je na četvrto mesto.

Britanska pevačica Adele takođe je imala velike koristi od American Idola. Jedna takmičarka izvela je njen aktuelni single Rolling In the Deep, te je prodaja ove pesme porasla za 99% što joj je omogućilo drugo mesto na Billboard Hot 100 listi - najbolja pozicija u njenoj karijeri.

Novi single Bruna Marsa "The Lazy Song" napredovao je za pet pozicija i zauzeo šesto mesto ove nedelje. Ovo je bila četvrta najprodavanija pesma ove nedelje i 22. po slušanosti na radio-stanicama.

U top 10 se vratio i aktuelni single Ke$he "Blow" koji je ove nedelje na devetom mestu.

21 by Adele is the weekly best selling album in the US for the fifth time. This album was sold in 153k copies last week (65% more compared to the last week) and this is the second best weekly sales for 21 since its release.

Last week #1 album Wasting Light by Foo Fighters slips to #3 with 72k copies sold (69% drop compared to the last week). 

The most recent Glee soundtrack The Glee presents the Warblers debutes at #2 with 86k copies sold - the lowest sales for any Glee release.

A soundtrack for new Disney's movie Lemonade Mouth jumps from #18 to #4 thanks to a repeated ratings and a discount in Target. This soundtrack was sold in 69k last week which is 222% higher compared to previous week.

Target discount helps Justin Bieber too to return in top 10 with Never Say Never: the Remixes (36k).

American Idol performance helps Katy Perry to return to #1 on Billboard Hot 100 with E.T. This song tops both - Digital Songs and Radio Songs charts at the moment.

Last week #1 single S&M by Rihanna and Britney Spears slips to #4 this week. 

Adele also benefits from American Idol. One contestant performed her latest single Rolling In the Deep which increased its sales for 99% and brought it to #2 this week - the highest chart position in her career.

The latest Bruno Mars' single The Laty Song jumps five positions to #6. This was the 4th best-selling song last week and the 22nd song on Radio Songs Chart. 

The latest Ke$ha's single Blow returns to top 10 at #9.

Katy Perry je objavila spot za svoj aktuelni hit E.T. U spotu možemo videti veliki broj zanimljivih i neobičnih kostima koji su u skladu sa pesmom koja govori o postojanju natprirodnog. Katy je rekla da joj je šminkanje najteže palo, ali da je zadovoljna rezultatom.

Spot je režirala Floria Sigismondi koja je, između ostalih, sarađivala sa Christinom Aguilerom, grupama Muse, The Cure i mnogim drugim.

Ova pesma je ovonedeljni #1 na Billboard Hot 100 listi.

Katy Perry has debuted a video for her latest hit E.T. We can see many interesting and unusual costumes in this video which portray the song about a supernatural extraterrestrial. Katy said that a make-up process had been really exhausting, but she was happy with a result.
The video is directed by Floria Sigismondi who collaborated with, among others, Christina Aguilera, Muse, The Cure etc.
This song is this week #1 on Billboard Hot 100.

Na ovonedeljnoj Billboard Top 200 listi najprodavanijih albuma u Americi, nalazi se čak sedam noviteta unutar top 10! Problematični reper Chris Brown nalazi se na prvom mestu sa albumum F.A.M.E. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u više od 270 hiljada primeraka i ovo je njegov prvi #1 album u karijeri.

Drugi album Jennifer Hudson "I Remember Me" debitovao je na drugom mestu baš kao i njen debi album. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 165 hiljada primeraka. Prošlonedeljni #1 album 21 pevačice Adele ove nedelje je na trećem mestu sa 96 hiljada prodatih primeraka, baš kao i prošle nedelje.

Novi album grupe The Strokes "Angels" stigao je do četvrtog mesta, baš kao i njihova dva prethodna albuma. Angels je prodat u 89 hiljada kopija prošle nedelje.

Gospel pevač Kirk Franklin je sa albumom Hello Fear debitovao na petom mestu sa prodatih 87 hiljada primeraka. Ovo je njegova najbolja pozicija i nedeljna prodaja još od njegovog albuma iz 2002. The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin koji je zauzeo četvrto mesto sa 91 hiljadom prodatih primeraka.

Kompilacija objavljena za pomoć Japanu Songs for Japan uspela je da dođe do šestog mesta za samo tri dana prodaje - 68 hiljada prodatih primeraka.

Zanimljivo je da su svi top 5 albumi izdanja Sony Musica. 

Novi album grupe Panic at the Disco "Vices & Virutes" nalazi se na sedmom mestu (68 hiljada), dok je Bobby V's zauzeo deveto mesto sa Fly on the Wall". (38 hiljada)

There are five new albums inside top 10 on Billboard Top 200 chart of best-selling albums in the USA. A troubled rapper Chris Brown debutes at #1 with his new album F.A.M.E. This album was sold in more than 270k copies last week and this is his first #1 in a career. 

Jennifer Hudson's sophmore album I Remeber Me debutes at #2, the same position as her debut album (165k).

Last week #1 album 21 by Adele goes down to #3 with 96k copies sold, the same amount as last week.

A new Strokes' album "Angels" reaches #4 (89k), the same position as their two previous albums.

A gospel singer Kirk Franklin debutes at #5 with his new release Hello Fear (87k). This is his best position and best weekly sales since his 2002 release The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin whitch peaked at #4 with 91k copies sold.

A charity compilation for Japan relief Songs for Japan reaches #6 after only three days of sales (68k).

It's interesting to mention that all top 5 albums are Sony Music releases.

A new Panic at the Disco's album Vices & Virutes bows at #7 (68k), while a hew release by Bobby V's "Fly on the Wall" debutes at #9 (38k).

On Billboard Hot 100 chart, Katy Perry with her new single E.T. replaces Lady Gaga who spent six weeks on the top with Born This Way. E.T. was the best-selling song last week and the tenth most listened song on radio. This is Perry's fifth #1 single. It's interesting to mention that all singles released from her last album Teenage Dream became #1 hits. Last week #1 hit Born This Way goes down to #4.

The only new top 10 entry is a new single by Wiz Khalifa "No Sleep" which was the second best-selling single last week which and it was enough for #6 on Hot 100.

Između njih dve nalazi se Cee-Lo Green sa F**k You (Forget You).

Jedini top 10 novitet ove nedelje je novi single Britney Spears "Till the World Ends" koji je napredovao sa dvadesetog na deveto mesto i to je njen deseti top 10 hit na ovoj listi.

A new Lady Gaga's single "Born This Way" is on the top of  Billboard Hot 100 for its fifth consecutive week, but the best-selling single last week was Katy Perry's "E.T." (featuring Kanye West) with 216k copies sold which, with radio support, was enough for #3 spot. Betwwen them is Cee-Lo Green with F**k You (Forget You).

The only new entry this week in top 10 is a new single by Britney Spears "Till The World Ends" which moved from #20 to #9 and this is her tenth top 10 hit on this chart.
