Billboard Charts: Adele se vraća na vrh glavnih lista / Adele returns to the top of main charts

Aktuelni album Adele "21" se nakon dvonedeljne pauze vratio na vrh Billboard Top 200 liste najprodavanijih albuma u Americi po 10. put. Ovaj album prodat je u 114 000 primeraka prošle nedelje, što je za 14 000 više od prošlonedeljnog #1 albuma "Born This Way" Lady Gage koji se nalazi na drugom mestu.

Broadway verzija "The Book of Mormon" dospela je na treće mesto sa 63 000 prodatih primeraka zbog 9 Tony nagrada koje je show osvojio. Ovo je prvi Broadway top 10 album još od 1969. godine kada je "Hair" proveo 13 nedelja na prvom mestu.

Reper Tech N9ne debitovao je na četvrtom mestu sa albumom "All 6's & 7's" (56 000), što je njegova  najbolja pozicija i najbolja prodaja u karijeri.

Solo album pevača country benda Brooks & Doon, Ronnia Doona, stigao je do petog mesta sa 45 000 primeraka, dok se novi album rock benda All Time Low "Dirty Work" nalazi na šestom mestu sa 44 000 prodatih primeraka. Njihov prethodni album "Nothing Personal" iz 2009. stigao je takođe do šestog mesta (63 000).

Što se liste singlova tiče, Adele je šestu nedelju na vrhu sa "Rolling In the Deep". Zahvaljujući digitalnoj prodaji u top 10 je dospeo i singl Jasona Aldeana "Dirt Road Anthem". Ova pesma prodata je u 164 000 kopija prošle nedelje, što je bilo dovoljno da se nađe na devetom mestu Hot 100 liste i ovo je njegov prvi top 10 hit. 

Do prvog top 10 hita stigla je i Nicki Minaj. Njen aktuelni singl "Super Bass" bio je šesti po prodaji prošle nedelje (143 000) i 14. najslušaniji singl u zemlji što je bilo dovoljno za 10. mesto.

Adele's latest album "21" returns to the top of Billboard Top 200 chart for the 10th time. This album was sold in 114k copies last week which is 14k more than last week #1 "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga (#2 this week).
The original Broadway cast recording of "The Book of Mormon" storms to #3 (63k) thanks to 9 Tony awards for the show. This is the first top 10 Broadway album since 1969 when "Hair" spent 13 weeks at #1.
Tech N9ne arrives at #4 with his new album "All 6's & 7's" (56k) which is the best position and weekly sales in his career so far.
A solo self-titled album by Brooks & Doon member Ronnie Doon debuts at #5 (45k), while a new album by All Time Low "Dirty Work" bows at #6 (44k), the same position as their previous effort from 2009 "Nothing Personal" (63k).
As for the singles chart, Adele is on the top for the 6th consecutive week with "Rolling In the Deep". Thanks to strong digital sales, top 10 reaches Jason Aldean with "Dirt Road Anthem". This song was sold in 164k copies last week which was enough for #9 spot in Hot 100 and this is the singer's first top 10 hit.
First top 10 hit also gets Nicki Minaj with "Super Bass" as the song reaches #6 this week in Digital Songs chart (143k) and #14 in Radio Songs chart.

Billboard: Adele i dalje na vrhu lista albuma i singlova / Adele still tops both Albums & Singles charts

Britanska pevačica Adele i dalje je na vrhu Billboardovih glavnih top-lista. Njen aktuelni album 21 prodat je u 156 hiljada primeraka prošle nedelje što je bilo više nego dovoljno da se po osmi put nađe na prvom mestu. Ovaj album je do sada prodat u 1.7 miliona primeraka i za sada je jedini album koji je prodat u više od milion primeraka ove godine u Americi.

Grupa komičara The Lonely Island dospela je do trećeg mesta ove nedelje sa svojim drugim albumom Turtleneck & Chain (68000).  Ovo je napredak u odnosu na njihov debi album Incredibad koji je dospeo do 13. mesta.

Debi album pevačice Christine Perri "Lovestrong" nalazi se na četvrtom mestu (58000), dok je na petom mestu hip-hoper Tyler, the Creator sa albumom Goblin (45000). Ovo je njegov drugi album, ali prvi koji je dospeo na Billboard Top 200 listu.

Prvi album grupe Cars u poslednje 24 godine Move Like This debituje na sedmom mestu (36000) i ovo je njihov peti top 10 album.

Album country pevača Jasona Aldeana "My Kinda Party" vraća se u top 10 jer je prošle nedelje prodat u 28 hiljada primeraka.

British singer/songwriter Adele still tops both Billboard's main charts. Her album 21 was sold in 156k copies last week which was more than enough to top Albums chart for the eightth non-consecutive week. This album has been sold in 1.7M copies and it's the only album that was sold in more than 1M copies this year in the US for now.

A comedy troup The Lonely Island reaches #3 this week with their second album Turtleneck & Chain (68k). This is a far better result compared to their debut album Incredibad that peaked at #13.

A debut album by Christina Perri "Lovestrong" starts at #4 (58k), followed by Tyler, the Creator's "Goblin" at #5 (45k). This is his second album, but the first charting release.

The first album by pop/rock group Cars in 24 years Move Like This bows at #7 (36k) and this is their fifth top 10 album.

Thanks to 28k copies sold, an album by country singer Jason Aldean "My Kinda Party" rises 12-10 this week.

As we already said, Adele tops Billboard Hot 100 chart as well. Rolling In the Deep was sold in 353k digital copies which is the second best weekly sales this year. It also rises 3-2 in Radio Songs chart.

Thanks to strong digital sales (#2, 266k), Lady Gaga's new single The Edge of Glory arrives at #3 this week.

Jeremih's single featuring 50 Cent returns to top 10 as it rises 12-10.

Billboard Charts: Adele na vrhu lista i albuma i singlova / Adele tops both albums and singles charts

Ako ste pomislili da je slava Adele počela da bledi, prevarili ste se. Njeni rezultati pokazuju da je i dalje jedna od najvećih zvezda u Americi trenutno. Njen album 21 i dalje je najprodavaniji i ovo je sedma nedelja kako se nalazi na vrhu. Zahvaljujući Danu majki, ovaj album je prodat u 155 hiljada primeraka prošle nedelje što je za 26% više u odnosu na prethodnu nedelju. Kada su u pitanju ženski izvođači, jedino je Taylor Swift  od 2000. godine imala više nedelja na vrhu sa albumom Fearless iz 2009. godine (11).

Ove nedelje je čak osam noviteta među 10 najprodavanijih. Na drugom mestu je novi album grupe Beastie Boys "Hot Sauce Committee Part 2" sa 128 hiljada prodatih primeraka. Ovo je njihov prvi studijski album koji promašio #1 poziciju još od 1992. godine i albuma  Check Your Head.

Druga Now kompilacija za ovu godinu Now 38 nalazi se na trećem mestu sa 124 hiljade primeraka.

Novi album grupe Fleet Foxes "Helplessness Blues" debitovao je na četvrtom mesto sa 91 hiljadom prodatih primeraka što je napredak u odnosu na njihov prvi album koji je stigao do 36. mesta.

Jennifer Lopez sa albumom Love? zauzela je peto mesto sa 83 hiljade prodatih primeraka. Njen prethodni album Brave stigao je tek do 12. mesta i ostaje njen jedini album koji je "promašio" top 10.

Članica benda Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, objavila je novi album posle 10 godina In Your Dreams i stigla do šestog mesta sa 52 hiljade prodatih primeraka. Ovo je njen peti top 10 album u karijeri.

Druga kompilacije grupe Sade "The Ultimate Sade" nalazi se na sedmom mestu sa 38 hiljada prodatih primeraka i ovo je njihov deveti uzastopni top 10 album koliko su ih i imali u karijeri.

Na osmom mestu je Musiq Soulchild sa albumom MusiqInTheMagiq. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 35 hiljada primeraka i ovo je treća najbolja pozicija za Musiqa u karijeri.

Poslednji top 10 novitet je novi album grupe Sixx A.M. "This Is Gonna Hurt" na desetom mestu i 30 hiljada prodatih primeraka, što je napredak u odnosu na njihov debi album koji je stigao tek do 62. mesta.

Što se Billboard Hot 100 liste tiče, Adele je nakon dve nedelje provedene na drugom mestu zauzela #1 poziciju sa Rolling In the Deep. Ova pesma bila je najprodavanija prošle nedelje (294 hiljade downloada) i treća po slušanosti na radio-stanicama. Adele je tako postala tek osma Britanka u istoriji koja je ostvarila ovaj rezultat. 

Prošlonedeljni #1 hit E.T. koji izvode Katy Perry i Kanye West pao je na drugo mesto ove nedelje.

Zahvaljujući nastupu u American Idolu, hit Jennifer Lopez "On the Floor" stigao je do trećeg mesta i ovo je sedmi top 3 hit u njenoj karijeri. Koristi od nastupa u ovoj emisiji imao je i bend Lady Antebellum čiji je novi single Just a Kiss debitovao na sedmom mestu ove nedelje što je rekord za jedan country band kada je prva nedelja u pitanju.

U top 10 našao se i aktuelni single Pitbulla "Give Me Everything" na osmom mestu i ovo je njegov četvrti top 10 hit.

If you think that Adele's glory is fading, you're wrong. Her results are proving that she's the one of most popular artists in America at the moment. Her album 21 is the best-selling title for the 7th non-consecutive week. Thanks to Mother's Day this album was sold in 155k copies last week (26% up). Only Taylor Swift had more weeks on the top with Fearless in 2008/2009 (11) since 2000.

There are almost record-breaking eight new entries inside the top 10 this week. Beastie Boys' new album Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 takes #2 spot with 128k copies sold. This is their first studio album that has missed #1 since Check Your Head in 1992.

The second Now compilation this year Now 38 arrives at #3 with 124k copies sold.

Fleet Foxes' sophmore album Helplessness Blues debutes at #4 with 91k copies sold which is a jump compared to their first album that reached #36.

Jennifer Lopez starts at #5 with her new album Love? and 83k copies sold. Her last album Brave reached only #12 and remains her only album that missed top 10.

Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks released her first album in 10 years In Your Dreams and reached #6 with 52k copies sold. This is her fifth career top 10.

The second compilation by Sade "The Ultimate Sade" bows at #7 with 38k copies sold. This is their 9th  (the number of albums they've released so far) top 10 album in a row.

A new album by Musiq Soulchild "MusiqInTheMagiq" debutes at #8 with 35k copies sold. This is the third best chart position for him.

The last top 10 new entry is a sophmore album by Sixx A.M. "This Is Gonna Hurt" (#10, 30k) which is a huge jump compared to their debut album that peaked only at#62.

As for Billboard Hot 100 charts, Adele tops it with Rolling In The Deep after two weeks at #2. This was the best-selling song last week (294k) and #3 on Radio Songs chart. Adele has become the eighth British female artist who topped Hot 100.

Last wek #1 E.T. by Katy Perry and Kanye West slips to #2 after seven weeks.

Thanks to American Idol performance, Jennifer Lopez' hit On the Floor gets a new peak at #3 and this is her seventh top 3 hit in a career. American Idol performance also helps Lady Antebellum whose new single Just a Kiss debutes at #7 which is a record for a country band when it comes to the debut week.

The latest single by Pitbull "Give Me Everything" enters top 10 this week at #8 and this is the fourth top 10 hit for him as a lead artist.

Billboard Charts: Adele i Katy Perry i dalje na prvim mestima / Adele and Katy Perry still hold #1 spots

Protekli praznici doprineli su tome da ove nedelje nema mnogo zanimljivosti na Billboard listama. Adele je sa albumom 21 i dalje na prvom mestu, po šesti put ove godine. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 124 hiljade primeraka. 

Novih izdanja u top 10 nema, ali su se zbog generalno slabe prodaje u 10 najprodavanijih vratili albumi Katy Perry "Teenage Dream" (8. mesto, 24 hiljade primeraka) i Wiz Khalife "Rolling Papers" (9. mesto, 23 hiljade primeraka).

Što se Billboard Hot 100 liste singlova tiče, Katy Perry je i dalje #1 sa pesmom E.T. Ova pesma postavila je novi rekord najpuštanije pesme na radio stanicama u nedelji između 25. aprila i 1. maja kada je zabeleženo 12 330 puštanja na 131 stanici. Katy je time oborila sopstveni rekord, jer je ovaj rekord držao njen prvi single sa albuma Teenage Dream "California Gurls" (12 159 emitovanja). 

Zahvaljujući remixu sa Nicki Minaj i Ke$hom, aktuelni single Britney Spears "Till the World Ends" stigao je do trećeg mesta, što je za sada najviše pozicija za ovu pesmu.

It's a sleepy post-Easter week on Billboard charts, so there's no much news to share. Adele's 21 tops  Billboard Top 200 chart for the sixth time this year selling additional 124k copies.

There isn't a single debut in the top 10, but two releases return to the 10 best-selling titles due to overall weak sales - Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" (#8, 24k) and Wiz Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" (#9, 23k).

As for the Billboard Hot 100 chart Katy Perry still holds #1 with E.T. This song set a new record as the most played song on radio stations on weekly basis. The song was played 12 330 times on 131 station in a week between April 25 and May 1. Katy broke her own record with this, because the previous record holder was the first single from Teenage Dream album California Gurls (12 159 plays).

Thanks to a remix with Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, the latest Britney Spears' single Till The World Ends jumps to #3, the highest position for this song so far.

Foo Fighers su nakon 17 godina karijere dobili prvi #1 album u Americi. Oni su prošle nedelje prodali 235 hiljada primeraka novog albuma Wasting Light i bez problema se našli na vrhu Billboard Top 200 liste.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album 21 od Adele ove nedelje je na drugom mestu sa 93 hiljade prodatih primeraka.

Na trećem mestu je novi album Alison Krauss "Paper Airplane" koji je uradila sa bendom Union Station. Iako je ovo njena najbolja pozicija u karijeri, ovo je njena treća po redu najbolja nedeljna prodaja. Paper Airplane je prošle nedelje prodat u 83 hiljade primeraka.

Legendarni sedamdesetogodišnji pevač Paul Simon nalazi se na četvrtom mestu sa novim albumom So Beautiful or So What koji je prošle nedelje prodat u 68 hiljada primeraka što je njegova najbolja prodaja od 1990. godine.

Četvrti i poslednji novitet u top 10 je latino rok bend Mana koji je debitovao na petom mestu sa albumom Drama y Luz koji je prodat u 47 hiljada primeraka prošle nedelje. Ovo je drugi top 10 album za njih.

Što se liste singlova tiče, na vrhu Billboard Hot 100 liste ove nedelje je Rihanna sa pesmom S&M zahvaljujući remixu sa Britney Spears koji je objavljen prošle nedelje. Ovo je deseti #1 hit za Rihannu i ona je najmlađi izvođač sa deset #1 hitova jer je do tog broja došla sa samo 23 godine čime je oborila rekord Mariah Caraey koja je do svog desetog #1 hita došla sa 25 godina. Billboard je za razliku od ostalih svetskih top-lista uključio i Britney Spears kao izvođača ove pesme, te je tako ova pevačica dobila svoj peti #1 hit u Americi. 

Prošlonedeljni #1 Katy Perry feat Kanye West - E.T. ove nedelje je na drugom mestu.

Jedini top 10 novitet ove nedelje je novi single Lady Gage "Judas" koji je objavljen u petak i uspeo je da stigne do desetog mesta.

Foo Fighters score their first #1 album in America after 17 years long career, Their latest album Wasting Light was sold in more than 235k copies last week and without problem topped Billboard Top 200 chart.

Last week #1 album 21 by Adele is at #2 this week with 93k copies sold.

Number 3 this week belongs to a new album by Alison Krauss with Union Station "Paper Airplane". This is her best position in a career, but the third best week when it comes to a weekly sales. Paper Airplane scanned 83k last week.

A legendary 70 years old singer/songwriter Paul Simon is at #4 this week with a new album So Beautiful or So What (68k) - his best weekly sales since 1990.

The fourth and the last new top 10 entry is the latest album by latino rock band Mana "Drama y Luz" which debutes at #5 (47k). This is their second top 10 album.

As for the Billboard Hot 100 chart Rihanna scores her tenth #1 with S&M which sales was fueled by a new remix released last week featuring Britney Spears. Rihanna has become the youngest artist to reach ten #1 hits, because she's only 23. She has broken Mariah Carey's record who got her tenth #1 when she was 25 back in 1995. Billboard credited Britney Spears as a featuring artist in this song as well, so the singer got her fifth US #1 single.

Last week #1 Katy Perry feat. Kanye West - E.T. is at #2 this week.

The only new entry inside top 10 is a new single by Lady Gaga "Judas" which was released on Friday and managed to reach #10 this week.
