Billboard Charts: Adele se vraća na vrh liste albuma + pogledajte godišnje liste! / Adele tops Albums chart again + check out year-end charts!

Adele, iako je već neko vreme nema u medijima, više nego uspešno započinje 2012. godinu. Njen multiplatinasti album "21" se vraća po 14. put na vrh nedeljne liste najprodavanijih albuma u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama (144 000 prodatih primeraka prošle nedelje).

Božić je prošao, pa sva praznična izdanja beleže veliki pad na top-listama. Tako je prošlonedeljni #1 album, "Christmas" Michaela Bublea, pao na 24. mesto (21 000).

Zahvaljujući velikom uspehu njihovih singlova i popustu na iTunesu, LMFAO su dobili prvi top 10 album jer je "Sorry for Party Rocking" napredovao sa 16. na peto mesto (49 000).

Popust na iTunesu pomogao je i Florence + The Machine da se vrate u top 10 sa "Ceremonials" (6. mesto, 47 000) - ista pozicija kao posle prve nedelje prodaje.

Što se liste singlova tiče, LMFAO su na vrhu liste drugu nedelju zaredom sa "Sexy and I Know It". Ova pesma je prošle nedelje prodata u 417 000 kopija, dok drži treće mesto po slušanosti na radio-stanicama.

Što se godišnjih lista tiče, Adele se, očekivano, nalazi na vrhovima glavnih lista. Njen album "21" najprodavanije je izdanje u 2011. godini sa 5.82 miliona primeraka. Ovo je najveći broj primeraka prodat u jednoj godini još od 2004. godine i Usherovog albuma "Confessions" (7.98 miliona). Adele na listi najprodavanijih singlova drži prvo mesto sa "Rolling In the Deep" (5.81 milion) - najveći broj prodatih digitalnih singlova u jednoj godini ikada.

Što se tiče slušanosti na radio-stanicama, najmitovaniji izvođač je Katy Perry (1 457 000 emitovanja), dok je najemitovanija pesma "Rolling In the Deep" (658 000 emitovanja).

Although she's out of spotlight for some time now, Adele successfuly starts 2012. Her smash album "21" returns to the top of US weekly chart of best-selling albums for the 14th time (144 000).

Christmas is behind us, so all holiday releases score huge drop. Last week's #1 album, Michael Buble's "Christmas", falls to #24 (21 000).

Thanks to a huge success of their singles and iTunes discount, LMFAO score their first top 10 album as "Sorry for Party Rocking" moves 16-5 (49 000).

iTunes discount also helped Florence + The Machine to return inside top 10 with "Ceremonials" (#6  47 000) - the same position as after the first week.

As for the singles chart, LMFAO are on top for the second consecutive week with "Sexy and I Know It". This song was sold in 417 000 copies last week, while it holds #3 on Radio Songs chart.

As for the year-end charts, Adele, as expected, tops both main charts. "21" is the best-selling release of 2011 with 5.82 million copies sold. This is the highest amount of albums sold in one year since Usher's "Confessions" in 2004 (7.98 million). Adele also tops singles chart with "Rolling In the Deep" (5.81 million) - the highest amount of digital singles sold in one year ever.

When it comes to airplay in 2011, Katy Perry is most played artist (1 457 000 detected plays), while "Rolling In the Deep" is the most played song (658 000).

Adele postavila istorijski rekord na Billboard listi / Adele Makes Billboard History

Magazin Billboard je tradicionalno objavio godišnju listu najprodavanijih albuma i singlova u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama i, očekivano, na vrhu obe liste nalazi se Adele sa albumom "21" i singlom "Rolling In the Deep". Međutim, treba napomenuti da je Adele postala prva žena u istoriji američke top-liste koja ima najprodavaniji album i singl u kalendarskoj godini! 

Urednik sajta Billboard.com, Tye Corner, je tim povodom izjavio:

"Njen uspeh je zaista inspirativan jer pokazuje da u muzičkoj industriji još ima meste za umetnike sa istinskim, čistim talentom. Nije neophodno da imate ekscentrični stajling i šljašte spotove da biste uspeli. Nekad je dovoljan neverovatan glas sa pravim pesmama koje će naterati milione da vas slušaju".

Billboard magazine has traditionally posted year-end lists of the best-selling albums and singles in the USA and, as expected, Adele tops both charts with "21" and "Rolling In the Deep" respectively. Still, it needs to be mentioned that Adele has become the first woman in Billboard history to top albums and singles list in the same year!

An editor of Billboard.com, Tye Corner, said:

"Her success is really inspiring because it shows that there is still room in the music industry for an artist to make it with true, raw talent. It's not necessarily always about the outrageous outfits or flashy videos, but an amazing voice coupled with the right song still has the ability to turn the ears of millions of people and keep them interested".

Billboard: Adele i dalje na vrhu / Adele still tops both main charts

Dakle, Adele je i dalje na vrhu i liste albuma i liste singlova, objavio je magazin Billboard. Album 21 našao se na prvom mestu po deveti put sa 137 hiljada prodatih primeraka. Ipak, sledeće nedelje će tu poziciju morati da prepusti Lady Gagi i njenom novom albumu Born This Way, za koji se predviđa da će biti prodat u više od 850 hiljada primeraka u prvoj nedelji.

Najuspešnije novo izdanje ovo nedelje je album rock benda Seether "Holding Onto to Strings Better Left to Fray" na drugom mestu (61 000). Ovo je najbolja pozicija u njihovoj karijeri i najbolja nedeljna prodaja od albuma Karma and Effect koji je prodat u 82 hiljade primeraka u prvoj nedelji.

U top 10 je još jedan novitet i to je debi album italijanske teen grupe II Volo na desetom mestu sa 23 hiljade prodatih primeraka.

U top 10 su se vratili albumi grupe Mumford & Sons "Sigh No More" (5. mesto; 25 000) i Justina Biebera "Never Say Never: The Remixes" (8. mesto; 23 000).

Što se liste singlova tiče, Rolling In the Deep je i dalje #1, kao što smo već rekli, treću nedelju zaredom, a izgleda da ću tu ostati i narednih nedelja. Ova pesma bila je najprodavanija prošle nedelje (297 000) i druga po slušanosti na radio-stanicama.

Dve nove pesme našle su se ove nedelje u top 10 Billboard Hot 100 liste. Veliki evropski hit Party Rock Anthem koji izvode LMFAO, GoonRock i Lauren Bennett napredovala je sa 20. na osmo mesto zahvaljujući digitalnoj prodaji (4. mesto, 163 000).

Lupe Fiasco dobio je svoj drugi top 10 hit. Pesma The Show Goes On zabeležila je skok sa 12. na deveto mesto.

So, Adele still tops both albums and singles charts, Billboard reported. 21 is #1 album for the 9th non-consecutive week selling additional 137k copies. Still, Lady Gaga will take this position next week as her new album Born This Way is projected to sell more than 850k copies in the first week.

The most successful new entry this week is an album by a rock band Seether "Holding Onto to Strings Better Left to Fray" at #2 (61k). This is the highest chart position in their career and the best weekly sales since  Karma and Effect in 2005 which was sold in 82k in the first week.

The only new top 10 entry beside Seether is a debut self-titled album by Italian teen trio II Volo at #10 with 23k copies sold.

Two albums return to top 10 this week: Momford & Sons' "Sigh No More" (#5; 25k) and Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never: The Remixes" (#8; 23k).

As for the singles chart, Rolling In The Deep is #1 for the third consecutive week, as we already reported, and it seems that it will stay there in next weeks. This song was the best-selling single last week (297k) and it also took #2 on Radio Songs chart.

Two songs blast into Hot 100's top 10 this week. A big European hit Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, Lauren Bennett and GoonRock rises 20-8 thanks to strong digital sales (#4, 163k).

Lupe Fiasco scores his second top 10 hit as The Show Goes On surges 12-9.

Britanska pevačica Adele i dalje je na vrhu Billboardovih glavnih top-lista. Njen aktuelni album 21 prodat je u 156 hiljada primeraka prošle nedelje što je bilo više nego dovoljno da se po osmi put nađe na prvom mestu. Ovaj album je do sada prodat u 1.7 miliona primeraka i za sada je jedini album koji je prodat u više od milion primeraka ove godine u Americi.

Grupa komičara The Lonely Island dospela je do trećeg mesta ove nedelje sa svojim drugim albumom Turtleneck & Chain (68000).  Ovo je napredak u odnosu na njihov debi album Incredibad koji je dospeo do 13. mesta.

Debi album pevačice Christine Perri "Lovestrong" nalazi se na četvrtom mestu (58000), dok je na petom mestu hip-hoper Tyler, the Creator sa albumom Goblin (45000). Ovo je njegov drugi album, ali prvi koji je dospeo na Billboard Top 200 listu.

Prvi album grupe Cars u poslednje 24 godine Move Like This debituje na sedmom mestu (36000) i ovo je njihov peti top 10 album.

British singer/songwriter Adele still tops both Billboard's main charts. Her album 21 was sold in 156k copies last week which was more than enough to top Albums chart for the eightth non-consecutive week. This album has been sold in 1.7M copies and it's the only album that was sold in more than 1M copies this year in the US for now.

A comedy troup The Lonely Island reaches #3 this week with their second album Turtleneck & Chain (68k). This is a far better result compared to their debut album Incredibad that peaked at #13.

A debut album by Christina Perri "Lovestrong" starts at #4 (58k), followed by Tyler, the Creator's "Goblin" at #5 (45k). This is his second album, but the first charting release.

The first album by pop/rock group Cars in 24 years Move Like This bows at #7 (36k) and this is their fifth top 10 album.

Thanks to 28k copies sold, an album by country singer Jason Aldean "My Kinda Party" rises 12-10 this week.

As we already said, Adele tops Billboard Hot 100 chart as well. Rolling In the Deep was sold in 353k digital copies which is the second best weekly sales this year. It also rises 3-2 in Radio Songs chart.

Thanks to strong digital sales (#2, 266k), Lady Gaga's new single The Edge of Glory arrives at #3 this week.

Jeremih's single featuring 50 Cent returns to top 10 as it rises 12-10.

Britney Spears je dobila i šesti #1 album u Americi, čime se izjednačila sa Mariahom Carey i Janet Jackson po broju #1 albuma kada su u pitanju ženski izvođači. Ispred njih su samo Barbara Streisend sa devet i Madonna sa sedam #1 albuma. Femme Fatale je prošle nedelje prodat u 276 hiljada primeraka, što je najniža prodaja za Britney Spears kada je prva nedelja u pitanju još od albuma Baby One More Time . 

Na drugom mestu debitovao je rapper Wiz Khalifa sa albumom Rolling Papers (197 hiljada). 

Komercijalno izdanje novog albuma grupe Radiohead "King of Limbs" dospelo je do šestog mesta sa 69 hiljada prodatih primeraka, što je pad u odnosu na njihov prethodni album In Rainbows koji je debitovao na prvom mestu.

Jedanaesti studijski album Snoop Dogga "Doggumentary" debitovao je na osmom mestu sa 50 hiljada primeraka.

Poslednji top 10 novitet je novi album gospel dua Mary Mary "Something Big" na desetom mestu sa 42 hiljade prodatih primeraka. Ovo je njihov treći top 10 album.

Što se Billboard Hot 100 liste tiče Katy Perry je i dalje #1 sa pesmom E.T. koja je ove nedelje povećala prednost u odnosu na drugoplasiranu Rihannu i S&M. Zahvaljujući premijeri spota E.T. je prošle nedelje prodata u 327 hiljada primeraka, a ove nedelje je i šesta najslušanija pesma.

Jedini top 10 novitet ove nedelje je aktuelni single Adele "Rolling In the Deep" koji se nalazi na desetom mestu i ovo je prvi top 10 hit za ovu pevačicu. Rolling In the Deep je prošle nedelje prodat u 122 hiljade primeraka, dok je zauzeo 36. mesto na listi najslušanijih pesama na radio-stanicama u Americi.

Only Barbara Streisand with nine and Madonna with seven #1 albums have earned more # 1s. Femme Fatale was sold in 276k last week which is Britney's lowest sales number when it comes to the first week sales since Baby One More Time.

As for Billboard Hot 100 chart, Katy Perry holds #1 spot with E.T. She has more advantage now over #2 Rihanna's S&M. Thanks to the video premiere, E.T. was sold in 327k copies last week and it took #6 on Radio Songs chart.

The only new top 10 entry this week is the latest single by Adele "Rolling In the Deep" - her first US top 10 hit. This song was sold in 122k downloads last week and reached #36 on Radio Songs chart.

Prvi #1 hit za Adele / Adele scores her first #1 hit

Britanska pevačica Adele, poznata po hitovima Chasing Pavements i Rolling In The Deep, posle trogodišnje karijere dobila je svoj prvi #1 hit u Velikoj Britaniji. To je drugi single sa njenog novog albuma 21 - Someone Like You. U jednoj od najzanimljivijih borbi na britanskoj listi singlova Adele je izašla kao pobednik sa oko 111 hiljada prodatih digitalnih kopija, a najveće konkurentkinje bile su joj mlada pevačica Jessie J sa pesmom Price Tag (prošlonedeljni #1) i Lady Gaga sa novim singlom Born This Way koji je zadržao prošlonedeljnu treću poziciju. Razlika u prodaji među prva tri mesta bila je samo 1%!

Pesmu Someone Like You Adele je izvela na ovogodišnjoj dodeli BRIT nagrada, nakon čega se pesma popela na vrh iTunes liste, gde se i dalje nalazi. 

Ova godina za Adele počela je više nego uspešno. Njen novi album 21 našao se na prvom mestu u 17 zemalja, a ove nedelje uspela je da uradi ono što je samo Bitlsima pošlo za rukom - da ima dva top 5 albuma i dva top 5 singla u isto vreme na britanskoj listi. Naime, Adele zauzima prvo i četvrto mesto na obe liste. Njen prvi album 19 našao se na četvrtom mestu ove nedelje, dok je na listi singlova to mesto pripalo pesmi Rolling In the Deep.

Album 21 sledeće nedelje će biti objavljen i u Severnoj Americi. Verujem da uspeh neće izostati, s obzirom na to da je pesma Rolling In the Deep i tamo veliki hit.

British singer/songwriter Adele, known for her hits Chasing Pavements and Rolling In the Deep, scored her first #1 hit on the UK Singles Chart after 3 years long career. It's the second single from her new album 21 - Someone Like You. In one of the most interesting chart battle on the UK Singles Chart, Adele won with estimated 111k sold downloads. Her biggest competition were Jessie J with a song Price Tag (#1 last week) and Lady Gaga with her new single Born This Way (kept #3 spot). Sales difference between first 3 spots was only 1%! 

Adele sung Someone Like You at BRIT Awards Ceremony and soon after this song went to the top of iTunes chart and it's still on that position. 

This year begun for Adele more than successfully. Her latest album 21 peaked at #1 in 17 countries and this week Adele manged to do what only The Beatles could - to have two top 5 albums and two top 5 singles in the same time. This week Adele is #1 and #4  on both - singles and albums chart. Her debut album 19 is #4, while that position belongs to Rolling In the Deep on singles chart.

Her new album 21 will be released in North America next week and I believe she'll have the same level of success as Rolling In the Deep is already a big hit there.
