Billboard liste: Madonna dobila osmi #1 album, Justin Bieber na drugom mestu sa novim singlom

Madonnin 12. studijski album, "MDNA", debitovao je na prvom mestu ovonedeljne liste najprodavanijih albuma u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama sa 359 000 prodatih primeraka, što je za kraljicu pop muzike osmi #1 album (peti uzastopni).

Na drugom mestu nalazi se Lionel Richie sa albumom obrada, "Tuskegee" (199 000), što je najbolja pozicija i nedeljna prodaja za njega još od 1986. godine.

Do najboljeg rezultata u karijeri stigao je i rok bend Shinedown sa albumom "Amaryllis" koji je debitovao na četvrtom mestu (106 000).

Zahvaljujući reizdanju albuma "Teenage Dream" - "Teeanage Dream: The Complete Confection", Katy Perry se vraća u top 10 (7. mesto, 33 000).

Grupa The Used dobila je četvrti top 10 album zahvaljujući izdanju "Vulnerable" koje je debitovalo na osmom mestu (32 000).

Što se Hot 100 liste singlova tiče, grupa fun. nalazi se petu nedelju zaredom na vrhu sa "We Are Young". Ova numera nalazi se na drugom mestu po prodaji (363 000) i po slušanosti na radio-stanicama, dok je po streamingu i dalje ubedljivo #1.

Rezultat grupe fun. bio je dovoljan da spreči Justina Biebera da debituje na prvom mestu sa novim singlom, "Boyfriend", uprkos impresivnim statistikama. "Boyfriend" je prošle nedelje prodat u neverovatnih 521 000 primeraka, što je četvrta najbolja nedeljna prodaja ikada u konkurenciji digitalnih singlova. Po slušanosti na radio-stanicama ova pesma je debitovala na 24. mestu, dok streaming poena nema, jer prošle nedelje nije bila dostupna na streaming servisima.

U top 10 su ove nedelje dospele dve nove pesme - "What Makes You Beautiful" grupe One Direction (9. mesto) i "Call Me Maybe" Carly Rae Jepsen (10. mesto). "What Makes You Beautiful" je prvi top 10 hit za One Direction. Ova numera se nalazi na petom mestu po prodaji (199 000), 42. mestu po slušanosti na radio-stanicama i 11. mestu po popularnosti na streaming servisima.

"Call Me Maybe" je prvi singl za kanadsku pevačicu na Hot 100 listi. Ova pesma se po prodaji nalazi na sedmom mestu (182 000), po slušanosti na radio-stanicama zauzima 73. mesto, a po popularnosti na streaming servisima 3. poziciju.

Billboard promenio pravila! Albumi jeftiniji od 3.49$ neće biti uključeni na listu / Billboard changes rules! Albums cheaper than 3.49$ won't be included to charts

Magazin Billboard još jednom je promenio metodologiju nedeljnog rangiranja najprodavanijih albuma u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Novo proavilo odnosi se na cenu po kojoj se albumi prodaju. Tačnije, ukoliko se album u prve četiri nedelje prodaje za manje od 3.49$, te kopije neće biti uključene na zvanične liste i njihova prodaja se neće računati. Pravilo se takođe odnosi i na reizdanja.

Novo pravilo je najverovatnije uvedeno, pišu mediji širom sveta, zbog albuma Lady Gage, "Born This Way", koji je u Amazonovoj MP3 prodavnici prodavan za 0.99$ tokom prve nedelje, što su mnogi kritikovali.

Billboard magazine has once again changed its chart metodology for ranking weekly best-selling albums in the USA. A new rule applies for a selling price of an album. Precisely, unit sales for albums priced below $3.49 during their first four weeks of release will not be eligible for inclusion on the album charts and will not count towards sales data. The rule also applies to reissued titles.
The new rule has been most probably introduced, according to worldwide medias, because of Lady Gaga's album, "Born This Way", that was sold for 0.99$ in its first week in Amazon MP3 store which many criticized. 

Billboard Charts: Eminem i Royce da 5'9" prvi na listi albuma / Eminem & Royce da 5'9" top Albums chart

Eminem i Royce da 5'9", koji čine duo Bad Meets Evil, debitovali su na prvom mestu američke top-liste albuma sa EP-om "Hell: The Sequel" koji je prošle nedelje prodat u 171 000 primeraka. Eminem se do sada našao šest puta na vrhu ove liste kao solo izvođač i dva puta kao deo benda D12, dok Royce da 5'9" nije stigao dalje od 110. mesta, te je ovo njegov prvi #1 album i prvi top 100 album uopšte.

Oni su sprečili jedanaestogodišnju pevačicu Jackie Evancho, koja je zauzela drugo mesto u emisiji "America's Got Talent", da stigne do prvog mesta sa njenim drugim albumom "Dream With Me" koji se nalazi na drugom mestu (161 000). Izgleda da je broj 2 njen srećan (ili nesrećan) broj, jer je i njen debi album "O Holy Night" stigao do drugog mesta 2009. godine (bio je iza albuma The Gift" Susan Boyle). 

Prošlonedeljni #1 album "21" od Adele zauzeo je treće mesto sa 115 000 prodatih primeraka.

Treći album grupe Owl City "All Things Bright and Beautiful" stigao je do šestog mesta (48 000) i ovo je najbolja pozicija i nedeljna prodaja u njihovoj karijeri.

Novi album Barrya Manilowa "15 Minutes" dospeo je do sedmog mesta sa 36 000 prodatih primeraka. Ovo je njegov prvi studijski album još od 2001. godine i 14. top 10 album.

Peti album R&B pevačice Ledisi "Pieces of Me" debitovao je na osmom mestu sa blizu 36 000 prodatih primeraka i ovo je njen prvi top 10 album u karijeri.

Što se liste singlova tiče, Adele se nalazi na prvom mestu sedmu nedelju zaredom sa "Rolling In the Deep". Ova pesma je i dalje najslušanija u zemlji, ali je po prodaji pala sa prvog na peto mesto ove nedelje, te će prvo mesto na Hot 100 listi sledeće nedelje najverovatnije prepustiti ili Pitbullu (#2) ili Katy Perry (#4). Katy Perry je prvi izvođač ove godine koji ima dva top 5 hita u isto vreme. Njen novi singl "Last Friday Night" bio je najprodavaniji prošle nedelje, što je bilo dovoljno da se nađe na četvrtom mestu.

Eminem and Royce da 5'9" aka Bad Meets Evil duo top this week Albums chart with their EP "Hell: The Sequel" (171k). Eminem has previously topped the chart six times as a solo act, and twice as part of D12, while Royce da 5'9" had never gone higher than No. 110, so this is his first #1 album and firs top 100 album overall.
They stopped a 11-year-old singing sensation Jackie Evancho, who finished the second in "America's Got Talent",  reaching the top with her second album "Dream With Me" (#2, 161k). It seems that 2 is her lucky (or unlucky) number considering that her debut "O Holy Night" also faild to top the chart back in 2009 (It was stuck behind Susan Boyle's "The Gift").
The last week #1 album "21" by Adele falls to #3 this week with 115k copies sold.
The third studio album by Owl City "All Things Bright and Beautiful" arrives at #6 (48k) which is the best position and weekly sales for them, while Barry Manilow's first studio album in 10 years "15 Minutes" bows at #7 (36k) making it his 14th top 10 album.
The fifth album by R&B singer Ledisi "Pieces of Me" reaches #8 with almost 36k copies sold and this is her first top 10 album.
As for the singles chart, Adele is #1 for the 7th consecutive week with "Rolling In the Deep". Although this song is #1 in Radio Songs chart, it falls to #5 in Digital Songs chart, so she'll most probably leave this postion to Pitbull (#2) or Katy Perry (#4) next wek. Katy Perry is the first artist this year to have two top 5 hits simultaneously. Her new single "Last Friday Night" was the best-selling song last week which was enough for top 5 debut.

Billboard Charts: Lady Gagin album "Born This Way" prodat u više od milion primeraka / Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" tops one million in sales

Novi album Lady Gage "Born This Way" prodat je u neverovatnih 1.1 miliona kopija što je bilo više nego dovoljno da se nađe na prvom mestu ovonedeljne Billboard Top 200 liste. Ovo je njen prvi #1 album u Americi i tek 17. (peti u kategoriji ženskih izvođača) album koji je prodat u više od milion primeraka od 1991. godine kada je Billboard počeo da objavljuje precizne podatke o prodaji. Zbog kontroverzne odluke sajta Amazon mp3 da album dva dana prodaje za samo 99 centi, Billboard je objavio da je prodato 662 hiljade digitalnih kopija od kojih 440 hiljada za pomenutu cenu.

Country zvezda Brad Paisley našao se na drugom mestu sa albumom "This Is Country Music" (153 000) i ovo je njegov treći #2 album u karijeri bez prvog mesta za sada.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "21" od Adele, pao je na treće mesto sa 126 hiljada prodatih primeraka, dok je novi soundtrack iz serije "Glee" debitovao na četvrtom mestu sa 80 hiljada prodatih primeraka.

Kompilacija "Maybach Music Group Presents Self Made Vol. 1" debitovala je na petom mestu sa 59 hiljada prodatih primeraka, dok se na sedmom mestu nalazi zajednička kompilacija grupa New Kids On the Block i Backstreet Boys "NKOTBSB" (40 000). Ovo je osmi uzastopni top 10 album za Backstreet Boys koliko su ih i imali u karijeri i peti top 10 za New Kids.

Debi album grupe Foster the People "Pumped Up Kicks" stigao je do osmog mesta ove nedelje sa 33 hiljade prodatih primeraka.

Što se liste singlova tiče, Adele je i dalje ubedljivo prva sa "Rolling In the Deep" četvrtu nedelju zaredom. Osim što je ova pesma bila najprodavanija prošle nedelje (254 000), takođe je bila i najslušanija pesma na radio-stanicama što je prvi #1 airplay hit za Adele u Americi.

Zahvaljujući uspehu albuma "Born This Way", Lady Gaga se vratila u top 10 Billboard Hot 100 liste sa "The Edge of Glory" koja se nalazi na osmom mestu ove nedelje.

Novi singl DJ Khaleda "I'm On One" napredovao je za neverovatnih 68 pozicija i našao se na desetom mestu ove nedelje, te je postao njegov prvi top 10 hit u Americi.

Lady Gaga's new album "Born This Way" was sold in astonishing 1.1 million copies last week in the USA which was more than enough to take #1 spot this week in Billboard Top 200 chart. This is her first #1 album in the USA and the 17th album (the fifth in a female artists category) that has been sold in more than million copies in one week since Soundscan era start in 1991. Because of a controversial desicion of Amazon mp3 store to sell album for only 0.99$ for two days, Billboard reports that "Born This Way" was sold in 662k digital copies (440k came from Amazon's discount).

Country star Brad Paisley debuts at #2 with "This Is Country Music" (153k). This is his third #2 album in his career with #1 yet to happen.

Last week #1 album, "21" by Adele, slips to #3 (126k), while a new "Glee" soundtrack reaches #4 with 80k copies sold.

"Maybach Music Group Presents Self Made Vol. 1" compilation starts at #5 (59k), while a mutual compilation of New Kids On the Block and Backstreet Boys "NKOTBSB" arrives at #7 (40k). This is the eight consecutive top 10 album for Backstreet Boys (its entire output of releases) and the fifth top 10 album for New Kids.

A debut album by new group Foster the People "Pumped Up Kicks" bows at #8 this week with 33k copies sold.

As for the singles chart, Adele still holds strong lead with "Rolling In the Deep" for the fourth consecutive week. Not only this was the best-selling single last week (254k), but also it got most radio impressions making it the first #1 airplay hit for Adele.

Thanks to the album success, Lady Gaga returns to top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 with "The Edge of Glory" at #8 this week.

DJ Khaled's new single "I'm On One" jumps incredible 68 spots to #10 this week, making it his first top 10 US hit.

Billboard: Adele i dalje na vrhu / Adele still tops both main charts

Dakle, Adele je i dalje na vrhu i liste albuma i liste singlova, objavio je magazin Billboard. Album 21 našao se na prvom mestu po deveti put sa 137 hiljada prodatih primeraka. Ipak, sledeće nedelje će tu poziciju morati da prepusti Lady Gagi i njenom novom albumu Born This Way, za koji se predviđa da će biti prodat u više od 850 hiljada primeraka u prvoj nedelji.

Najuspešnije novo izdanje ovo nedelje je album rock benda Seether "Holding Onto to Strings Better Left to Fray" na drugom mestu (61 000). Ovo je najbolja pozicija u njihovoj karijeri i najbolja nedeljna prodaja od albuma Karma and Effect koji je prodat u 82 hiljade primeraka u prvoj nedelji.

U top 10 je još jedan novitet i to je debi album italijanske teen grupe II Volo na desetom mestu sa 23 hiljade prodatih primeraka.

U top 10 su se vratili albumi grupe Mumford & Sons "Sigh No More" (5. mesto; 25 000) i Justina Biebera "Never Say Never: The Remixes" (8. mesto; 23 000).

Što se liste singlova tiče, Rolling In the Deep je i dalje #1, kao što smo već rekli, treću nedelju zaredom, a izgleda da ću tu ostati i narednih nedelja. Ova pesma bila je najprodavanija prošle nedelje (297 000) i druga po slušanosti na radio-stanicama.

Dve nove pesme našle su se ove nedelje u top 10 Billboard Hot 100 liste. Veliki evropski hit Party Rock Anthem koji izvode LMFAO, GoonRock i Lauren Bennett napredovala je sa 20. na osmo mesto zahvaljujući digitalnoj prodaji (4. mesto, 163 000).

Lupe Fiasco dobio je svoj drugi top 10 hit. Pesma The Show Goes On zabeležila je skok sa 12. na deveto mesto.

So, Adele still tops both albums and singles charts, Billboard reported. 21 is #1 album for the 9th non-consecutive week selling additional 137k copies. Still, Lady Gaga will take this position next week as her new album Born This Way is projected to sell more than 850k copies in the first week.

The most successful new entry this week is an album by a rock band Seether "Holding Onto to Strings Better Left to Fray" at #2 (61k). This is the highest chart position in their career and the best weekly sales since  Karma and Effect in 2005 which was sold in 82k in the first week.

The only new top 10 entry beside Seether is a debut self-titled album by Italian teen trio II Volo at #10 with 23k copies sold.

Two albums return to top 10 this week: Momford & Sons' "Sigh No More" (#5; 25k) and Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never: The Remixes" (#8; 23k).

As for the singles chart, Rolling In The Deep is #1 for the third consecutive week, as we already reported, and it seems that it will stay there in next weeks. This song was the best-selling single last week (297k) and it also took #2 on Radio Songs chart.

Two songs blast into Hot 100's top 10 this week. A big European hit Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, Lauren Bennett and GoonRock rises 20-8 thanks to strong digital sales (#4, 163k).

Lupe Fiasco scores his second top 10 hit as The Show Goes On surges 12-9.

Billboard Charts: Dominacija Adele se nastavlja! / Adele continues to dominate US charts!

Adele se sa albumom 21 po peti put nalazi na vrhu liste najprodavanijih albuma u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 153 hiljade primeraka (65% više u odnosu na prošlu nedelju) i ovo je druga najbolja prodaja za 21 od objavljivanja u februaru.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album Wasting Light grupe Foo Fighters pao je na treće mesto sa 72 hiljade prodatih primeraka (pad za 69% u odnosu na prošlu nedelju).

Najnoviji soundtrack iz serije Glee "The Glee presents the Warblers" debitovao je na drugom mestu 86 hiljada prodatih primeraka što je do sada najmanja prodaja za Glee soundtrack.

Soundtrack za novi Diznijev film Lemonade Mouth beleži skok sa 18. na četvrto mesto zahvaljujući velikom broju repriza tokom prošle nedelje i popustu u Target prodavnicama. Ovaj soundtrack prodat je u 69 hiljada primeraka prošle nedelje što je za čak 222% više u odnosu na prošlu nedelju.

Popust u Targetu pomogao je i Justinu Bieberu da se vrati u top 10 sa remix albumom Never Say Never: the Remixes (36 hiljada prodatih primeraka).

Nastup u American Idolu omogućio je Katy Perry da se vrati na prvo mesto Billboard Hot 100 liste singlova sa pesmom E.T. E.T. je trenutno najprodavanija i najslušanija pesma na radio-stanicama.

Prošlonedeljni #1 single S&M koji izvode Rihanna i Britney Spears pao je na četvrto mesto.

Britanska pevačica Adele takođe je imala velike koristi od American Idola. Jedna takmičarka izvela je njen aktuelni single Rolling In the Deep, te je prodaja ove pesme porasla za 99% što joj je omogućilo drugo mesto na Billboard Hot 100 listi - najbolja pozicija u njenoj karijeri.

Novi single Bruna Marsa "The Lazy Song" napredovao je za pet pozicija i zauzeo šesto mesto ove nedelje. Ovo je bila četvrta najprodavanija pesma ove nedelje i 22. po slušanosti na radio-stanicama.

U top 10 se vratio i aktuelni single Ke$he "Blow" koji je ove nedelje na devetom mestu.

21 by Adele is the weekly best selling album in the US for the fifth time. This album was sold in 153k copies last week (65% more compared to the last week) and this is the second best weekly sales for 21 since its release.

Last week #1 album Wasting Light by Foo Fighters slips to #3 with 72k copies sold (69% drop compared to the last week). 

The most recent Glee soundtrack The Glee presents the Warblers debutes at #2 with 86k copies sold - the lowest sales for any Glee release.

A soundtrack for new Disney's movie Lemonade Mouth jumps from #18 to #4 thanks to a repeated ratings and a discount in Target. This soundtrack was sold in 69k last week which is 222% higher compared to previous week.

Target discount helps Justin Bieber too to return in top 10 with Never Say Never: the Remixes (36k).

American Idol performance helps Katy Perry to return to #1 on Billboard Hot 100 with E.T. This song tops both - Digital Songs and Radio Songs charts at the moment.

Last week #1 single S&M by Rihanna and Britney Spears slips to #4 this week. 

Adele also benefits from American Idol. One contestant performed her latest single Rolling In the Deep which increased its sales for 99% and brought it to #2 this week - the highest chart position in her career.

The latest Bruno Mars' single The Laty Song jumps five positions to #6. This was the 4th best-selling song last week and the 22nd song on Radio Songs Chart. 

The latest Ke$ha's single Blow returns to top 10 at #9.

Aktuelni album Adele "21" vratio se na prvo mesto liste najprodavanijih albuma u Americi. Ovaj album prošle nedelje je prodat u 88 hiljada primeraka. Tako je 21 postao prvi album ove godine koji je prodat u više od milion kopija u Americi.

Prošlonedeljni #1 album Femme Fatale od Britney Spears ove nedelje je na drugom mestu sa 75 hiljada prodatih primeraka.

Među top 10 najprodavanijih albuma samo su dva noviteta ove nedelje. Novi album rock benda Hollywood Undead "American Tragedy" dospeo je do četvrtog mesta sa 66 hiljada prodatih primeraka što je najviša pozicija i najbolja nedeljna prodaja u njihovoj karijeri.

Novi album engleskog metal benda Asking Alexandria "Reckless & Relentless" debitovao je na devetom mestu sa 33 hiljade prodatih primeraka što je veliki napredak u odnosu na njihov debi album koji je stigao tek do 170. mesta.

Bend Mumford & Sons vratio se u top 10 sa albumom Sigh No More koji je skočio sa 11. na osmo mesto.

Što se najpopularnijih singlova u Americi tiče, Katy Perry je sa pesmom E.T. treću nedelju zaredom na vrhu Billboard Hot 100 liste. Ova pesma je i dalje ubedljivo najprodavanija, dok je druga najslušanija pesma na radio-stanicama u zemlji.

Britney Spears se sa singlom Till the World Ends vratila u top 10 zahvaljujući premijeri spota i ovo je za sada najviša pozicija za ovu pesmu.

The latest album by Adele "21" returns to #1 this week on the best-selling albums chart in the USA. This album was sold in more than 88k copies and it's the first album this year that sold more than 1 million copies.

Last week #1 album Femme Fatale by Britney Spears is at #2 this week with 75k copies sold.

There are only two new albums inside top 10 this week. A new album by rock band Holywood Undead "American Tragedy" reaches #4 with 66k copies sold this week which is the highest position and weekly sales in their careers. 

A new album by English metal band Asking Alexandira "Reckless & Relentless" debutes at #9 this week with 33k copies sold which is a huge leap compared to their debut album that peaked only at #170.

Mumford & Sons return to top 10 with Sigh No More jumping from #11 to #8.

As for the most popular singles in the US, Katy Perry is #1 for the third consecutive week on the top of Billboard Hot 100 with her single E.T. This is the best-selling single at the moment and it's also #2 on Radio Songs chart.

Britney Spears returns to top 10 with Till The World Ends after the video premiere jumping from #13 to #8, the single's peak for now.

Britney Spears je dobila i šesti #1 album u Americi, čime se izjednačila sa Mariahom Carey i Janet Jackson po broju #1 albuma kada su u pitanju ženski izvođači. Ispred njih su samo Barbara Streisend sa devet i Madonna sa sedam #1 albuma. Femme Fatale je prošle nedelje prodat u 276 hiljada primeraka, što je najniža prodaja za Britney Spears kada je prva nedelja u pitanju još od albuma Baby One More Time . 

Na drugom mestu debitovao je rapper Wiz Khalifa sa albumom Rolling Papers (197 hiljada). 

Komercijalno izdanje novog albuma grupe Radiohead "King of Limbs" dospelo je do šestog mesta sa 69 hiljada prodatih primeraka, što je pad u odnosu na njihov prethodni album In Rainbows koji je debitovao na prvom mestu.

Jedanaesti studijski album Snoop Dogga "Doggumentary" debitovao je na osmom mestu sa 50 hiljada primeraka.

Poslednji top 10 novitet je novi album gospel dua Mary Mary "Something Big" na desetom mestu sa 42 hiljade prodatih primeraka. Ovo je njihov treći top 10 album.

Što se Billboard Hot 100 liste tiče Katy Perry je i dalje #1 sa pesmom E.T. koja je ove nedelje povećala prednost u odnosu na drugoplasiranu Rihannu i S&M. Zahvaljujući premijeri spota E.T. je prošle nedelje prodata u 327 hiljada primeraka, a ove nedelje je i šesta najslušanija pesma.

Jedini top 10 novitet ove nedelje je aktuelni single Adele "Rolling In the Deep" koji se nalazi na desetom mestu i ovo je prvi top 10 hit za ovu pevačicu. Rolling In the Deep je prošle nedelje prodat u 122 hiljade primeraka, dok je zauzeo 36. mesto na listi najslušanijih pesama na radio-stanicama u Americi.

As for Billboard Hot 100 chart, Katy Perry holds #1 spot with E.T. She has more advantage now over #2 Rihanna's S&M. Thanks to the video premiere, E.T. was sold in 327k copies last week and it took #6 on Radio Songs chart.

The only new top 10 entry this week is the latest single by Adele "Rolling In the Deep" - her first US top 10 hit. This song was sold in 122k downloads last week and reached #36 on Radio Songs chart.
