Ke$ha sarađuje sa Alicom Cooperom / Ke$ha to collaborate with Alice Cooper

Na iznenađenje fanova oba izvođača, Ke$ha se nedavno na sceni pridružila legendarnom rokeru Alicu Cooperu, ali to nije sve! Ke$ha će se pojaviti i na njegovom novom albumu "Welcome 2 My Nightmare"!

"Verujem da će veći deo moje publike reći 'Ke$ha?', ali tekst koji je napisala za mene je toliko neobičan da smo morali da je ubacimo", rekao je Cooper dodvaši da "ako je umetnik u mišjoj rupi, ne znači da tu i pripada".

Ostaje da čekamo rezultat ove, blago rečeno, neobične saradnje. Pitam se da li je tekst o kome Cooper govori o ludovanju na žurkama ili čekamo nešto ozbiljnije?

Fans of both performers were surprised to see Ke$ha  hitting the stage with legendary rocker Alice Cooper, but that's not all! Ke$ha  will also appear on his next album "Welcome 2 My Nightmare".

"I think a lot of my audience is going to go, 'Ke$ha?' but she probably wrote the most wicked lyrics in the song — we had to rein her in," he explained of his collabo with the pop star. "I like people to know that just because artists are put in a pigeon hole, that doesn't mean that's what they are; give people a little room."

We can only wait the result of this unusual collab, to say at least. I wonder if the lyrics are about partying or we can expect something more serious this time?

Ke$ha je u intervjuu za Digital Spy rekla da je napisala oko 200 pesama za njen drugi album. Ona dodaje da će novi album biti eksperimentalniji, da će imati rok prizvuk, kao i da je inspirisana muzikom Led Zeppelina, Iggya Popa i AC/DC.

"Stalno pišem o mojim ludim iskusvima širom sveta, pa imam gomilu napisanih pesama. Još ih nisam snimila, ali to će se desiti uskoro", kaže pevačica.

Njen prvi album "Animal", sa reizdanjem "Cannibal", postigao je veliki uspeh, pa ostaje da se vidi kako će publika prihvatiti novu, rock Ke$hu.

Ke$ha in an interview for Digital Spy revealed that she wrote around 200 songs for her sophmore album. She also said that her new record will be experimental with rock influence and that she's inspired by music of  Led Zeppelin, Iggy Pop and AC/DC.

"I'm writing constantly about all my crazy experiences across the world, so I have a lot of music I've already written. I haven't turned that material into a record yet, but it's definitely coming along", the singer says.

Her debut album "Animal", with a re-release "Cannibal", became a huge success for her, so let's wait and see how new, rock Ke$ha will be accepted.  

Billboard Music Awards report!

Nakon četiri godine pauze, Billboard Music Awards se vraćaju na velika vrata. Veliki broj trenutno najpopularnijih muzičkih zvezda okupio se sinoć u Las Vegasu kako bi saznali koji su izvođači bili najuspešniji na Billboardovim listama prošle godine. Naravno, mnogi su priredili i spektakularne nastupe. No, jedno po jedno.

Show je otvorila Rihanna koja je pevala S&M. Njoj se na sceni pridružila Britney Spears na oduševljenje njenih fanova koji su nedeljama nagađali hoće li se njihova ljubimica pojaviti. Britney se kasnije pridružila i Nicki Minaj kako bi izvele deo remixa Till the World Ends.

Najviše nagrada odneli su Eminem i Justin Bieber (po 6). Eminem je, između ostalog, osvojio i nagrade za najboljeg izvođača, najboljeg muškog izvođača i najbolji album, dok je Bieber kući otišao sa nagradom fanova i nagradom za najboljeg novog izvođača, između ostalih.

Za njima nisu zaostale ni Rihanna i Taylor Swift. Rihanna je osvojila nagrade za najboljeg radio izvođača, kao i za najboljeg ženskog izvođača, dok je Swiftova proglašena za najboljeg Billboard Top 200 umetnika.

Zvezda večeri svakako je bila Beyonce koja je dobila Billboard Millenium nagradu, kao što smo već objavili, a izvela je i svoj aktuelni single Who Run the World (Girls). Tokom prihvatanja nagrade, njen rad preko video bima hvalili su muzički veterani kao što su Barbara Streisand, Stevie Wonder i Bono, ali i prva dama Amerike Michelle Obama.

U2 su postali dobitnici nagrade za najuspešniju turneju prošle godine 360 koja je nedavno postala i najuspešnija turneja svih vremena.

Kao što smo već rekli, nastupilo je mnogo izvođača koji su, verujemo, zadovoljili sve muzičke ukuse. Pored već pomenutih, nastupile su i zvezde country muzike Lady Antebellum i Keith Urban, zatim i pop zvezde Ke$ha i Tiao Cruz. Svoje pesme izveli su i One Republic, Cee-Lo Green, R&B diva Mary J. Blige nastupila je zajedno sa Lil Waynom, dok je Pitbull pevao svoj aktuelni hit Give Me Everything. Među izvođačima su bili i The Black Eyed Peas koji su izveli medley svojih najvećih hitova.

Sve u svemu, jedno zanimljivo veče, bez većih iznenađenja što se nagrada tiče i sa mnogo lepih i neobičnih nastupa.

After 4-years long break, Billboard Music Awards are back in a big style. Many music stars gathered last night in Las Vegas to find out which acts were the most successful last year in Billboard charts. Some of them also gave extraordinary performances. So, one by one.

Rihanna opened the show with S&M. Britney Spears joined her on stage, which made Spears' fans happy after many weeks of rummors about whether Britney will perform. She even later returned to perform part of Till the World Ends remix with Nicki Minaj.

Eminem and Justin Bieber were the biggest winners of the night (each won 6 awards). Eminem, among others, won Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Best Album awards, while Biber took home Fan Favorite and Top New Artist Awards, among others.

Rihanna and Taylor Swift were not much behind. Rihanna was named for Top Radio Artist and Top Female Artist, while Swift got Billboard Top 200 Artist of the Year award.

Beyonce was certainly the star of the night. She was honored with Billboard Millenium Award, as we previously reported and she also performed her latest single Who Run the World (Girls). During accaptance, Beyoncé was honored by musical veterans like Barbra Streisand, Bono and Stevie Wonder, as well as First Lady Michelle Obama, in a video montage.   

U2 won an award for the most successful tour last year 360 which eventually became the most successful tour of all time.
As we already said before, there were many performers and we beleive everyone found something for themselves. Beside mentioned, there were country stars Lady Antebellum and Keith Urban, pop breakouts Ke$ha i Tiao Cruz. Among performers were also One Republic and Cee-Lo Green. R&B diva Mary J. Blige dueted with Lil Wayne, while Pitbull performed his latest hit Give Me Everything. The Black Eyed Peas also performed singing medly of their greatest hits.
To sum up, it was one interesting music night, without big surprises among awarded followed by nice and unusuall performances.

Billboard Charts: Adele i Katy Perry i dalje na prvim mestima / Adele and Katy Perry still hold #1 spots

Protekli praznici doprineli su tome da ove nedelje nema mnogo zanimljivosti na Billboard listama. Adele je sa albumom 21 i dalje na prvom mestu, po šesti put ove godine. Ovaj album je prošle nedelje prodat u 124 hiljade primeraka. 

Novih izdanja u top 10 nema, ali su se zbog generalno slabe prodaje u 10 najprodavanijih vratili albumi Katy Perry "Teenage Dream" (8. mesto, 24 hiljade primeraka) i Wiz Khalife "Rolling Papers" (9. mesto, 23 hiljade primeraka).

Što se Billboard Hot 100 liste singlova tiče, Katy Perry je i dalje #1 sa pesmom E.T. Ova pesma postavila je novi rekord najpuštanije pesme na radio stanicama u nedelji između 25. aprila i 1. maja kada je zabeleženo 12 330 puštanja na 131 stanici. Katy je time oborila sopstveni rekord, jer je ovaj rekord držao njen prvi single sa albuma Teenage Dream "California Gurls" (12 159 emitovanja). 

Zahvaljujući remixu sa Nicki Minaj i Ke$hom, aktuelni single Britney Spears "Till the World Ends" stigao je do trećeg mesta, što je za sada najviše pozicija za ovu pesmu.

It's a sleepy post-Easter week on Billboard charts, so there's no much news to share. Adele's 21 tops  Billboard Top 200 chart for the sixth time this year selling additional 124k copies.

There isn't a single debut in the top 10, but two releases return to the 10 best-selling titles due to overall weak sales - Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" (#8, 24k) and Wiz Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" (#9, 23k).

As for the Billboard Hot 100 chart Katy Perry still holds #1 with E.T. This song set a new record as the most played song on radio stations on weekly basis. The song was played 12 330 times on 131 station in a week between April 25 and May 1. Katy broke her own record with this, because the previous record holder was the first single from Teenage Dream album California Gurls (12 159 plays).

Thanks to a remix with Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, the latest Britney Spears' single Till The World Ends jumps to #3, the highest position for this song so far.

We'll see if this remix can score #1 on Billboard Hot 100 like the one by Rihanna and Britney for S&M, but one thing is sure - all three performers are among the most popular celebrities at the moment which makes this collaboration very interesting!

Jedini top 10 novitet na ovonedeljnoj listi najpopularnijih pesama u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama je novi single pevačice Ke$he "Blow". Ova pesma nalazi se na šestom mestu najprodavanijih pesama tokom protekle nedelje i među 30 najslušanijih pesama na radiju što je bilo dovoljno za skok sa 11. na sedmo mesto ovonedeljene Billboard Hot 100 liste. Zanimljivo je da su svi singlovi sa njenog debi albuma Animal i reizdanja Canibal završili među top 10 najpopularnijih pesama u Americi.

Lady Gaga je sa singlom Born This Way  četvrtu nedelju zaredom na prvom mestu. Sa preko 230 000 downloada prošle nedelje, ova pesma je i dalje najprodavanija, a napredovala je i na listi slušanosti sa četvrtog na treće mesto. 

Nakon debitovanja na devetom mestu, Jennifer Lopez je sa pesmom On the Floor napredovala četiri pozicije i ove nedelje zauzela peto mesto zahvaljujući odličnoj prodaji (drugo mesto sa 223 000 prodatih primeraka).

The only new top 10 entry on this week chart of the most popular singles in the USA is a new single by Ke$ha "Blow". This song took #6 on Hot Digital Songs chart this week and it's within top 30 on the Airplay Chart which was enough to rise from #11 to #7 this week on Billboard Hot 100. It's interesting that all singles from her debi album Animal and a re-release Canibal peaked inside the top 10 of the most popular songs in America.
Lady Gaga holds #1 spot for the fourth week in a row with Born This Way. With over 230k downloads last week, it's still the best-selling single in the USA. This song also raised from #4 to #3 on the Airplay Chart.
After debuting at #9, Jennifer Lopez moved to #5 this week with On the Floor thanks to a huge digital sales (#2 with over 230k downloads).

Young pop sensation Ke$ha released a brand new video for a song Blow - the second single from a re-release of her debut album Animal - Canibal. In this unusual video, which is like a mini action movie, Ke$ha is presented as a femme fatale. Beside her, the video features TV drama's former star James Van Der Beek who is killed by the young singer in a laser gunfire. The video is directed by Chris Marrs Piliero.

Ke$ha will also release her first remix album - I Am the Dance Commander + I Commander You To Dance: The Remix Album on March 22, which will feature an exclusive remix of this song as well.
