Pevačica koja trenutno promoviše singl "It's My Party" potvrdila je da će se njen drugi studijski album zvati "Alive" i da će se u prodaji naći 23. septembra. Ona je takođe predstavila i omot koji možete pogledati iznad ovog posta. Jessie je izjavila da naziv, omot, kao i kompletan album jednom rečju opisuju kako se ona trenutno oseća - živom.

Jessie J je nekada pevala: "We don't care about money", a sada se za pomoć obratila Calvinu Harrisu kako bi i ona dobila pesmu u elektropop fazonu koja će zvučati slično kao većina numera u top 40. To je upravo i opis ove pesme - ni po čemu specifična, niti preterano zanimljiva, ali ima velike šanse da postane hit. Ovo je drugi singl sa njenog drugog studijskog albuma čiji datum objavljivanja još nije poznat.

"Silver Lining (Crazy Bout You)" nije najava za novi album, već je filmska tema dramatične komedije "Silver Lining Playbook" koju je režirao David O. Russell i u kojoj igraju Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence i Robert De Niro. Film će imati premijeru 21. novembra, a do tada publika može uživati u ovoj odličnoj numeri koju je napisala čuvena Diane Warren.

Jessie J tužena zbog plagijata

Kalifornijski pevač Will Loomis podneo je tužbu protiv Jessie J i kompanija Universal Music Group, Lava Records i Universal Republic Records, jer tvrdi da su neovlašćeno iskoristili značajne delove njegove pesme "Bright Red Chords" iz 2008. godine za pesmu "Domino" koju je pevačica objavila prošle godine.

Will Loomis je još u aprilu na YouTube postavio snimak "Bright Red Chords VS Domino" u kome demonstrira sličnosti dve pesme. Da li ove dve numere zaista liče - prosudite sami!

Jessie J u Beogradu

Popularna pevačica Jessie J nastupiće po prvi put u Srbiji u okviru festivala "Belgrade Calling" koji će biti održan od 27. do 29. juna na beogradskom Ušću. Debi album mlade britanske zvezde, "Who You Are", objavljen je prošle godine i od tada osvaja publiku širom sveta zahvaljujući hitovima poput "Do It Like a Dude", "Price Tag" i "Domino". Takođe je i dobitnica nagrade za najperspektivnijeg novog izvođača u Velikoj Britaniji.

Tradicionalna slaba januarska prodaja i to što nema velikih novih izdanja i dalje su glavni uzroočnici što je potreban relativno mali broj prodatih primeraka da bi se album našao u top 10. Tako se Adele po dvadeseti put nalazi na vrhu liste albuma, ali ovoga puta sa samo 20 978 prodatih primeraka, što je najmanji broj prodatih primeraka za #1 album u 21. veku. Ipak, sa vedrije strane treba napomenuti da album "21" danas slavi svoj prvi rođendan, pa je veliki uspeh što se i posle godinu dana od objavljivanja nalazi na vrhu ove liste.

Jedini novitet u top 10 dolazi od metal benda Enter Shikari koji se sa albumom "A Flash Flood of Colour" nalazi na četvrtom mestu (19 451) i ovo je njihov drugi top 5 album.

Što se liste singlova tiče, Jessie J nalazi se na prvom mestu sa pesmom "Domino" drugu nedelju zaredom (64 255).

Top 10 novitet je pesma "Antidote" koju izvode Swedish House Mafia i Knife Party (4. mesto, 46 757). Ovo je četvrti uzastopni top 10 singl za SHM i prvi za Knife Party.

Nakon dve nedelje u top 10 je dospeo i aktuelni singl Pixie Lott - "Kiss the Stars" (8. mesto, 26 983). Ovo je za nju peti top 10 singl.

Traditionally week January sales and that there weren't big new releases are still main reasons for albums to enter top 10 with relatively small number of sold copies. Adele tops Albums chart for the 20th time, but this time with only 20 978 copies sold, which is the smallest number for any #1 album in the 21st century. Still, on a bright side, today is the first birthday of the album "21", so it's a great success that it can still top charts one year after its release.

The only new top 10 entry comes from a metal band Enter Shikari that bow to #4 with their new album, "A Flash Flood of Colour" (19 451) and this is their second top 5 album.

As for the singles chart, Jessie J is on the top with "Domino" for the second consecutive week (64 255).

New entry inside top 10 is "Antidote" performed by Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party (#4, 46 757). This is the fourth consecutive top 10 single for SHM and first for Knife Party.

After two weeks, top ten enters Pixie Lott's latest single, "Kiss the Stars" (#8, 26 983). This is her fifth top 10 single.

Tako je ovonedeljni #1 album prodat u samo 24 509 primeraka. To je debi albuma Bruna Marsa, "Doo Wops & Hooligans", koji se na ovu poziciju vraća posle godinu dana. 

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "21", od Adele, pao je na drugo mesto (23 831).

Jedini novitet dolazi od indie benda The Maccabees. Njihov novi album, "Given to the Wild", debitovao je na četvrtom mestu (22 453), što je najbolja pozicija i nedeljna prodaja u njihovoj karijeri.

Što se liste singlova tiče, Jessie J je dobila drugi #1 hit, jer je njen aktuelni singl, "Domino" napredovao sa osmog na prvog mesto (57 369).

So, this week's #1 album sold only 24 509 copies. It's Bruno Mars' debut set, "Doo Wops & Hooligans", which returns to the pole position after a year.

Last week's #1 album, "21" by Adele, moves to #2 (23 831).

The only new entry comes from an indie band The Maccabees. Their new album, "Given to the Wild", debuts at #4 (22 453), which is the best position and weekly sales in their career. 

As for the singles chart, Jessie J scores her second #1 hit as her latest single, "Domino" advances 8-1 (57 369).

Top 10 this week reaches the latest David Guetta's single, "Titanium" (featuring Sia) (#8, 26 045). This is the 13th top 10 hit for Guetta and the second for Sia.

BRIT Awards: Najviše nominacija za Eda Sheerana / Ed Sheeran gets most nominations

 Mladi muzičar Ed Sheeran, koji je slavu stekao zahvaljujući snimcima na YouTube-u i čiji je debi album "+" prodat u 200 000 primeraka bez pomoći izdavačke kuće, nominovan je u četiri kategorije za najprestižniju muzičku nagradu u Velikoj Britaniji - BRIT. On je nominovan za najboljeg muškog izvođača, najboljeg novog izvođača, za najbolji album ("+") i najbolji singl ("The A Team").

Iza njega su po broju nominacija Adele, koja je obeležila 2011. godinu i Jessie J, koja je na prošlogodišnjoj dodeli dobila nagradu kritike kao najperspektivniji izvođač. Adele je u konkurenciji za najboljeg ženskog izvođača, najbolji album ("21") i najbolji singl ("Someone Like You"), dok se Jessie takođe takmiči za najboljeg ženskog izvođača i najbolji singl ("Price Tag"), dok je u konkurenciji i za najboljeg novog izvođača.

Young musician Ed Sheeran, who rose to fame thanks to his YouTube videos and whose debut album "+" sold 200k copies without label's support, scored four nominations for the most prestegious British music award - BRIT. He's nominated for Best Male, Best Breakthrough Artist, Best Album ("+") and Best Single ("The A Team").

Adele, who marked 2011, and Jessie J, who won critics choice award as the most promising artist, have the most nominations behind him. Adele picked nods for Best Female, Best Album ("21") and Best Single ("Someone Like You"). Jessie is also nominated for Best Female and Best Single ("Price Tag"), but she's nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist as well.

The ceremony will be held on February 21 at O2 Arena and it will feature performances by Adele, Blur, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

Uspeh Adele ne jenjava ni u 2012. godini. Njen album, "21", vratio se na vrh britanske liste albuma po 19. put sa 38 380 primeraka, što je najviše nedelja na prvom mestu za bilo kog solo izvođača u istoriji!

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, "+" Eda Sheerana, pao je na treće mesto (24 916).

Zbog velike medijske pažnje koju je dobio njen porođaj, aktuelni album Beyonce, "4", vraća se u top 10 (6. mesto).

Što se liste singlova tiče, aktuelni single Flo Ride, "Good Feeling", dospeo je na vrh posle osam nedelja na top-listi (50 000) i ovo je njegov četvrti #1 singl. Na listi je napredovala i pesma Aviciia, "Levels", čiji je deo korišćen za Flo Ridin hit (4. mesto, 35 000). 

Najbolje plasirani novitet ove nedelje je "Troublemaker" Taio Cruza (3. mesto, 36 208) - njegov deveti top 10 hit.

Due a big media attention suurounding her giving birth to a baby girl, Beyonce's latest album, "4" returns to top 10 (#6).

As for the singles chart, Flo Rida's latest single, "Good Feeling", reaches top spot after eight weeks on chart (50 000). This is his fourth #1 single. Avicii's single, "Levels", which is sampled into Flo Rida's hit, also advances on chart (#4, 35 000).

The best placed new entry this week is "Troublemaker" by Taio Cruz (#3, 36 208) -his ninth top 10 hit.

Jessie J's "Domino" enters top 10 after three weeks (#8) - her fifth top 10 single.

The video doesn't have a storyline, but there are a lot costume changes and this time Jessie shows her sexy side, because the song is different from everything she's done before. Novi album Il Diva, "Wicked Game", debitovao je na šestom mestu (60 316) i ovo je njihov prvi album koji je debitovao izvan top 3.

Što se liste singlova tiče, zajednički singl X-Factor takmičera, obrada čuvenog hita grupe Rose Royce - "Wishing On a Star", debitovao je na prvom mestu (98 932). MTV Europe Music Jokes Report

Izveštaj sa ovogodišnje dodele MTV evropskih muzičkih nagrada počeću smešnom činjenicom da nijedan dobitnik zapravo nije iz Evrope. To je naravno, najmanji, problem večerašnjeg fijaska.

MTV odavno ima glupo pravilo da fanovi mogu glasati nebrojano puta za svoje favorite, a ta glupost je večeras kulminirala. Za ovakve ceremonije ne treba vam mnogo fanova. Treba vam samo dovoljan broj zaluđenih fanova koji će po ceo dan kliktati "vote" ispod vašeg imena. Tako je Lady Gaga osvojila četiri nagrade iako njen aktuelni album "Born This Way" nije "album veka", kako je najavljivala (jedva može poneti titulu "album meseca"), istoimena pesma nije novi "I Will Survive", a ni "Express Yourself" (osrednji hit u najboljem slučaju), dok je veoma diskutabilno mogu li se ostali singlovi sa ovog albuma nazvati hitovima. Ipak, "mala čudovišta" su se potrudila da je predstave kao najpopularniju zvezdu trenutno što je, ako gledate prodaju, slušanost na radio-stanicama, puštanje po klubovima itd, daleko od istine. "Mala čudovišta" se nisu najsjajnije pokazala tamo gde je najvažnije - kupovina albuma i singlova (osim kada se album prodavao za dolar). Naravno, ovo nema veze sa kvalitetom, jer ove nagrade nikada nisu ni bile odraz kvaliteta, ali po komercijalnim parametrima, ove godine je bilo daleko popularnijih izvođača. Kao i uvek, Gaga se potrudila da šokira (bez ikakve poruke, naravno), pa je došla obučena kao čivava. Takođe smo čitave večeri bili osuđeni na ispoljavanje njenih fake emocija jer joj gluma nije jača strana. 

Doduše, ni Selena Gomaz se nije pokazala kao najsjajnija glumica, kojoj je to primarni posao, pa je njeno voditeljstvo bilo tragikomično u najmanju ruku. Ni prezenteri nisu bili ništa bolji - usiljeni je blaga reč.

Da će dodela biti razočaravajuća videlo se još na samom početku kada je Katy Perry dodeljena nagrada za najboljeg live izvođača. Njoj koja je sve samo ne dobar live izvođač, što je dokazano mnogo puta do sada.

Justin Bieber nije ostvario značajniji uspeh ove godine, što njegovim fanovima nije bio problem da mu dodele nagrade za najboljeg muškog (?) i pop izvođača (za razloge videti pod Lady Gaga).

Kakva dodela, takvi i nastupi - prilično neupečatljivi. Jedino su David Guetta, Jessie J i Tiao Cruz malo razdrmali publiku koja je bila mrtva gotovo čitave večeri (ali ko može da ih krivi). 

Kao šlag na torti bio je Adam Lambert koji je nastupio sa grupom Queen i (bezuspešno) imitirao Freddia Mercurya. Ovom katastrofom, dodela je zatvorena.

I'll start this report about this year's MTV EMA ceremony with a funny fact that there were no winners from Europe. That's, of course, the smallest problem of tonight's fiasco.

MTV has had a stupid rule for a long time that people can vote unlimited number of times for their favorites,  the stupidity of that desicion has culminated tonight. You don't need many fans for this type of award shows. You just need enough lunatic fans who'll click "vote" under your name all day long. That's how Lady Gaga won four awards, although her latest album "Born This Way" isn't "the album of the century", as she announced ("album of the month", barely), a title song isn't new "I Will Survive" nor "Express Yourself" (moderate hit in the best case), while it's a question could her other singles from this album be called hits. Still, "little monsters" tried very hard to present her as the most popular star at the moment which is, when we look sales, radio and club plays, far from truth. "Little monsters" failed to prove her power when it comes to the most important thing - buying her records (except when her album was sold for a dollar). Of course, EMAs aren't about quality, but judging by a comercial performance there were more successful acts this year. Like always, Gaga was trying to shock (without any message, of course), so she came dressed as a chiwawa. We also had to watch her spilling of fake emotions all over the place because acting isn't one of her talents.

Still, a host Selena Gomes also didn't show greats acting skills, although it's her primary job, so her hosting was really tragicomic. Presenters weren't better wither - constrained to say at least.

At the beginning of the show it was clear that a ceremony will be a disappointment. Katy Perry got an award for best live act. She can be whatever she wants, but she failed as a live performer many, many times. 

Although Justin Bieber didn't have a significant success this year, it didn't stop his lunatic fans to award him with best male (?) and best pop performer (for reasons see under Lady Gaga).

Bad ceremony, bad performances. Very bland and uninspired. Only David Guetta, Jessie J and Tiao Cruz moved audience that was dead almost whole evening (but who can blame them?). 

Adam Lambert buried the show. He performed with Queen and during a performance he unsuccessfully tried to copy Freddie Mercury. This catastrophy closed the show.

Jessie J sarađuje sa Davidom Guettom na novom albumu / Jessie J Working With David Guetta On New Album

Nakon što su Jessie J i David Guetta sarađivali na pesmi "Repeat" koja se nalazi na njegovom albumu "Nothing But the Beat", ovo dvoje umetnika odlučilo je da uradi pesmu i za njen novi album. Guetta je u intervjuu za BBC Radio 1 rekao:

"Upravo smo uradili jednu veliku pesmu. Zajednička pesma koju smo prethodno uradili je odlično prošla, pa smo odlučili da uradimo pesmu i za njen album. Zaista sam uzbuđen zbog toga. Ona je zaista neverovatna, veoma pozitivna osoba i srećan sam zbog ove saradnje".

After Jessie J and David Guetta collaborated on a track "Repeat" that is featured on his album "Nothing But the Beat", these two artists have decided to do a track for her album too. Guetta spoke about this collab in an interview for BBC Radio 1:

"We just made a really big record. There was one record we made and it went so well, we decided to do one for her new album. [I'm] really excited about it. She's really amazing, a very positive person. I'm really happy that we did it."

Morrison kaže da je za njega velika privilegija što je Jessie pristala da uradi pesmu sa njim, jer zna da ne snima pesme koje nije sama napisala.

Divna i emotivna pesma, spot isto takav, tako da verujem da ćete uživati :) Posebno, jer ćete upoznati Jessie J u jednom drugačijem svetlu. Ipak, kritičari su ovaj duet ocenili samo kao ponavljanje njegovog uspešnog dueta sa Nelly Furtado - "Broken Strings" bez ikakvih novinacija.

Today I present you another video. It's the video for the second single, "Up", taken from James Morrison's second album, "The Aweking". This is a duet with a popular young singer Jessie J. Morrison says that he was honored she accepted to do a song with him, because he knows that she doesn't record songs that she didn't write.

This is beautiful and emotional song song, you can descripe the video that way too, so I believe you'll enjoy. Plus, you'll see Jessie in another light. Still, critics descriped this song simply as a repeat of his successful duet with Nelly Furtado - "Broken Strings"without any inovations.
