Album pevačice Adele "21" je šestu nedelju zaredom na vrhu britanske top-liste albuma sa impresivnom prodajom od preko 180 hiljada prodatih primeraka. Album 21 je u prvih mesec dana prodat u preko milion primeraka u ovoj zemlji, što nije uspelo nijednom albumu objavljenom u prvom tromesečju poznatom po slaboj prodaji.
Najbliža Adele, bila je mlada pevačica Jessie J sa debi albumom Who You Are, prodat u 106 hiljada primeraka. Na trećem mestu je još jedan novitet - Different Gear Still Speeding grupe Beady Eye koja je sastavljena od bivših članova grupe Oasis (prodato 67 hiljada kopija). Među 10 najprodavanijih albuma prošle nedelje u Velikoj Britaniji našla su se još dva noviteta - debi album pevačice Clare Maguire "Light After Dark" na sedmom mestu i album pevačice Alexis Jordan, koji je nazvala po sebi, na devetom mestu. Ostatak liste u nastavku posta.
Adele je broj 1 i na listi singlova. Oduševljenje pesmom Someone Like You koju je pevačica izvela na dodeli BRIT nagrada ne jenjava - 116 hiljada prodatih primeraka. I na listi singlova glavna konkurentkinja bila joj je Jessie J sa pesmom Price Tag (86 prodatih primeraka). Ova nedelja prošla je bez noviteta na listi singlova. Novi singl Britney Spears Till The World Ends, koji je objavljen u petak, završio je na 55. mestu posle dva dana prodaje. Kompletan top 10 u nastavku posta.

Adele's album 21 is number 1 on UK Albums Chart for 6th consecutive week with an impressive sales of over 180k copies sold. 21 has been sold in more than a million copies in the first month in this country. No album in the chart history has reached a million mark so quickly in the first 3 months of a year which are known for low sales.
The closest competition for Adele was a young singer Jessie J with a debut album Who You Are (106k). Another new release took #3 - Different Gear Still Speeding by Beady Eye, a band formed by former members of Oasis. Among 10 best-selling albums in the UK last week are two more new releases - a debut album by Clare Maguire "Light After Dark" at #7 and Alexis Jordan's self-titled album at #9. Adele still holds #1 spot on singles chart as well. A fascination with Someone Like You wich was performed at BRITS doesn't fade away - 116k sold copies. The closest competition was also Jessie J with a song Price Tag (86k). There were no new entries this week in top 10.
