Clare Maguire je mlada britanska kantautorka koja je široj javnosti postala poznata učestvovanjem u čuvenom BBC Sound of 2011 glasanju tokom kog muzički kritičari, urednici i novinari svojim glasovima, a na osnovu promotivnih singlova, predviđaju ko će biti popularan u godini koja dolazi. Clare je završila ne petom mestu.

Neki od učesnika i pobednika ovog glasanja su velike zvezde poput 50 Centa, Seana Paula, Mike, Adele, Duffy, grupe Hurts...

Clare  je danas objavila single "The Last Dance" koji toplo preporučujem. Pesmu je napisala za MIchaela Jacksona, ali pošto je on umro, odlučila je da je sama snimi. Siguran sam da će ljubitelji dark pop zvuka voleti ovu pesmu. Kritičari njen glas porede sa glasovima Annie Lennox i Stiviea Nicksa. Clare  će sledeće nedelje objaviti i debi album Light After Dark o kome ću takođe pisati. Obavezno poslušajte pesmu :)

Clare Maguire is a young English singer/songwriter who rose to fame after taking a part in  BBC Sound of 2011 poll - an annual poll of music critics and industry figures to find the most promising new music talent. Clare  finshed at the 5th place. Some of famous artists also took part (and some won) in this poll such us:  50 Cent, Sean Paul, Mika, Adele, Duffy, Hurts...
Clare today released her brand new single The Last Dance which I warmly recommend. This song was originally written for Michael Jackson but since he died, she decided to record the song herself. I'm sure that fans of dark pop will love this. Her voice is compared to Annie Lennox and Stivie Nicks. Clare will release her debut album next week titled Light After Dark which I'll write about. Enjoy this great song :)
