Članovi grupe The Cranberries potvrdili su na svom zvaničnom sajtu da će početkom 2012. godine objaviti novi album, "Roses", nakon desetogodišnje pauze. Album je sniman u Torontu i Londonu tokom maja i juna, a producent je Stephen Street koji je sa njima već sarađivao na ranijim izdanjima.
Snimljeno je 16 pesama od kojih će se 11 naći na albumu. Gitarista, Noel Hogan, obećao je da će i ostale pesme biti objavljene. Takođe je najavio mogućnost objavljivanja EP-a pre albuma.

The Cranberries su do sada objavili 5 albuma od kojih je najuspešniji "No Need to Argue" iz 1994. godine na kome se nalazi njihov najveći hit, "Zombie", i koji je prodat u preko 17 miliona primeraka.

The Cranberries have confirmed on their official website that they'll release a new album, "Roses", in early 2012, after 10-year-long break. Recording sessions took place in Toronto and London during May and June. The album was produced by their old collaborator Stephen Street.
