UK Charts: Ed Sheeran na vrhu liste albuma, One Direction dobili najbrže prodavani singl ove godine / Ed Sheeran tops albums chart, One Direction gets the fastest selling single this year

Debi album mladog engleskog pevača Eda Sheerana, "+", prodat je u 102 350 primeraka prošle nedelje što je bilo više nego dovoljno da se nađe na vrhu britanske liste albuma. 

Prošlonedeljni #1 album, Example - "Playing in the Shadows", pao je na treće mesto (28 058).

U top 10 su još dva noviteta. Treći album folk pevačice Laure Marling, "A Creature I Don't Know", nalazi se na četvrtom mestu (25 862) - pozicija do koje je dospeo i njen prethodni album "I Speak Because I Can". 

Iako je prethodni album grupe The Kooks, "Konk", debitovao na prvom mestu, ovoga puta naišli su na hladniji prijem i sa svojim novim izdanjem, "Junk of the Heart" nalaze se na desetom mestu (12 673).

Što se liste singlova tiče, prvi singl grupe One Direction, koja je osvojila treće mesto u britanskom X-Factoru, "What Makes You Beautiful", postao je najbrže prodavani singl ove godine sa 153 965 downloada prodatih u prvoj nedelji.

A debut album by a young Ed Sheeran, "+", was sold in 102 350 copies last week which was more than enough for him to take the top spot on the UK albums chart.

Last week #1, Example's - "Playing in the Shadows", slips to #3 (28 058). 

There are two more new entries inside top 10. Laura Marling's third album, "A Creature I Don't Know",  debutes at #4 (25 862) - the same position that reached her previous album "I Speak Because I Can". 

Although The Kooks's previous album, "Konk", debuted at #1, they get a cooler reception this time as their new effort, "Junk of the Heart", starts at #10 (12 673).

As for the singles chart, One Direction's debut single, the band that finished the third on X-Factor, "What Makes You Beautiful", becaomes the fastest selling single this year as it shifted 153 965 downloads in the first week.
