Kalifornijska škola koja se nalazi u pokrajini Valley Region, i koja se do sada zvala Valley Region Elementary School No. 12, dobila je novo ime i od sada će se zvati Carlos Santana Arts Academy, u čast čuvenog muzičara.
Odbor škole je svoju odluku obrazložio time da je Carlos Santana to zaslužio "zbog svojih dugotrajnih muzičkih dostignuća, kao i zbog svog dobrotvornog rada".
Santana se putem pisma zahvalio odboru škole i izjavio da je "duboko počastvovan" njihovom odlukom.

A Californian school located in Valley Region, which was previously known Valley Region Elementary School No. 12, has got a new name. From now on it will be Carlos Santana Arts Academy, in honour of the legendary musician.
