Filmski festival u Veniciji, gde je Madonna promovisala svoj drugi rediteljski film "W.E.", bio je dobra prilika za novinare da saznaju nešto više o njenom novom albumu. Kraljica pop muzike nije bila previše rečita, ali je rekla da je novi album za nju "lepa promena" i dodala:
"Nisam sigurna kada će novi album biti objavljen, ali novi singl stiže u februaru ili martu sledeće godine".
Ona je obećala da će se nakon promocije filma vratiti u studio i nastaviti rad na ovom dugoočekivanom izdanju.
Madonna je rad na novom albumu započela početkom jula, a od saradnika su za sada potvrđeni William Orbit (producirao njen album "Ray of Light" iz 1998. godine) i Jean Baptiste Kouname (producent grupe The Black Eyed Peas).

The Venice Film Festival, where Madonna promoted her second directorial movie "W.E.", was a good chance for journalists to find out some details about her upcoming album. The Queen of Pop didn't tell much about this topic, just that the album would be "a nice change" for her and added:
"I'm not sure when the new record will be out, but the first single will be released in February or March".
She also promissed that after a promotion of the movie, she'd return to a studio to complete the work on this long-awaited release.
